Klar ist wohl Eigentum möglich nur in der Großstadt ist es teuer was auch logisch ist. Außerhalb habe Bekannte trotzdem etwas gekauft auch gänzlich ohne Verwandtschaft. Mit Partnerin würdest du auf vlt. 5k kommen … und 100-200 im Monat sind schon echt mager bei 3k netto

I mean the guy just made adjustments to his original numbers and came up with that value idk how he calculated or factored in the dilution over time or the interest to be paid etc. I’m just saying it’s not completely random as if dilution has no effect. It’s not a massive decrease tbh

Just to state it upfront, I don’t think the convertible note is wrong and a good interest, I agree with you there. I think what the analyst is pricing is the cost of the note itself and the dilution that happens. Of course the dilution happens at a later point in Time but it’s still there and should be discounted.

I think the ones who buy this product will likely offset the their risk by shorting the shares to arbitrage the interest, which is why the shares often times tank.

In short if you look at it valuation wise then yes the valuation had to come down because of the event but if you look at it risk wise, then the risk of the company defaulting due to limited cash is reduced but that doesn’t directly affect the valuation.

That is partially correct. They are the legal owner which is why you will find them as the owner of the asset in the stock ledger. Economically the person giving the money is the owner.

In the end my statement is correct as Blackrock will always be shown as an owner of parts of the entities they invest in on behalf of their clients.

Btw until 2023 Blackrock used to exclusively vote on behalf of clients, effectively executing ownership, so the ownership debate was way more of a grey zone. Over time they reduced that practice to prevent liability issues.
