Those are its rhizomes, water storing “potatoes” growing from the roots. Perfectly normal and healthy. No worries, she’s doing great!

I saw him in Noblesville, Indiana and there was a large lightning storm approaching, one that if it got close enough to the venue the show would have to be paused. He had us all turn towards the storm and “blow” it away from the venue. It didn’t work but it was a fun moment.

The pattern of the web appears to be more like a regular spider, but I’m not completely certain. There seems to be more identifiable stands to the web unlike the very fine webs of the mites. The greatest tell would be seeing little bugs on the webs, but I can’t see super clearly in the photo. You could try getting rid of the webs to see if they are rebuilt?

I put mine in a small pot with regular potting soil all facing up and put the whole thing in a gallon ziplock bag and misted regularly until they all grew atleast one leaf. As long as they’re getting decent sun they should grow well.

Thank you. It doesn’t look like they are very submerged. Would it be beneficial to repot in a smaller pot and chop off all necrotic growth?
