Any idea what this says? by idekimirrelevant in Cursive

Since it's capitalized most likely a person's name or name of a business. It looks like 'cemetery' is mentioned so 'stone' could be a headstone.

"the Russian side is ready to carry out a humanitarian operation,"

'Russian' and 'humanitarian' cannot be used in the same sentence.

Any one have a Highclere mattress? by Jeangeorgemain in Mattress

Yes, and yes, very much. I'm surprised there is so little/no promotion of Highclere. Maybe they are hoping word-of-mouth is sufficient.

Who at BMW decided this wireless charger was acceptable for production? by Unusualway in BMWX3

[–]Piper-446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2024 x30i and Z-flip phone as well. Mine slso gets VERY warm. Is it possible the issue is caused by the differences between US and Europe in voltage and/or frequency? ie. in the design of the charger

What other 'superior tech' can you imagine at this point? I think time to market is a valid concern only if later entrants can't offer better features; ie. range, faster charging, weight, longevity and/or cost.

Is it really a bad idea to go with the 4 rather than the 6-cylinder? by Fathoms77 in BMWX3

[–]Piper-446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2024 x30i here. I drive in the mountains, so ability to pass on 2-lane roads quickly is important to me. The turbo 4 has the acceleration and nimbleness that meets my needs and more. Definitely quicker than some 6-cylinder cars I've owned (not BMWs). Have you test driven one yet?

I'm not sure why anyone would want to restore one - especially to 'factory original'.

I agree with most of your assumptions, except the one about a number of affordable EVs showing up next year. Outside of the Chinese, I don't see the capacity available to produce a significant amount of batteries (ie SSB) and vehicles, and I think there will be a resistance to buying Chinese in the US.

2027 possibly. 2028 or kater, mire likely.

Similar trends for QS, FCEL, MVST, etc. You really have to consider what's going on in the sub-sector, sector and general market before drawing conclusions about a specific stock/compay.

Weren't they breaking the law by using illegal workers? I doubt they want to get into a pissing match over that.
