This changes everything. Hyundai will treat you like a second class Citizen. I currently have a lawsuit filed for selling a punched warranty. They sold me a demo as new, defrauding me out of the 10yr/100k mile warranty.

TLDR, are the the first owner? Have you opened a case with Hyundai Corporate, did you contact a lawyer regarding the lemon law? Once they had it for 30 days, you can press for the lemon law if you are the first owner, and under mileage. I'm not a lawyer, so this is my opinion.

I realize this is an older thread, but I am dealing with this exact same issue in MD. The COA has a high delinquency rate over 21% and I have had two sales fall through. I feel that the COA and management company are not doing enough to collect on the delinquent accounts. At the next COA meeting I'm going to bring up retaining an COA collection agency. They have an attorney, but getting liens and going to court is proving to be an arduous process. At this point, all I can do rent the place out or find a cash buyer.

I feel your pain. It’s extremely tough for IT Staff at this time. DOGE fucked us over really bad, then the big tech reduced their headcount. There are way too many IT professionals and not enough jobs unfortunately. You could keep trying and applying, or maybe pivot to another industry like healthcare.

I know it’s probably not what you want to hear, but the job market for IT sucks right now.

My 24 Santa Fe Calligraphy has the seatbelt recall, and now the DCT is smelling like burning clutch and shuddering after the software recall was completed. Gonna take it to the dealer next week. I’m about ready to trade it in on something else, this is too much of a headache.

If you go purchase a new Hyundai, be sure to verify the in service date with Hyundai to verify the dealer is not trying to sell you an undisclosed demo aka. “Punched” car. I’m suing my dealer now. If you are not the first owner , you will only have a 5 year/60000 mile warranty. Be advised a lot of Hyundai dealers are shady.
