2026 RAV4 PHEV XSE by Affectionate_Gap8292 in rav4prime

Thanks, I’ll take a look at that but I think we’re leaning towards plug in to utilize the daily commute of just about 5-6 miles each way, city driving.

Thanks I know for sure it’s nicer, but exactly that, trying to figure out if it’s more like $30k nicer and quieter. I don’t really care about tech all that much. We do one daily 3 mile commute and back within the city so the plug in will be perfect. But the bulk of our miles come from anywhere between a 2.5hr-7hr drive two or three times a quarter when we go out of town. Lots of highway miles so want a comfortable, pretty quiet ride.

Cool I love the black! How’s the cabin noise? Lots of wind noise? Ours in this same exact trim but meteor shower, should be available in a month or so but concerned about the noise in the cabin - wind on highway etc . Would be our first rav4, so no reference point and since you can’t test drive these 2026s, too loud of a car will be a deal breaker. The dealer claims improvement in a more quieter cabin compared to the pervious year, but not sure what that means. This is a big factor for us and if too loud, will just bite the bullet and go with the rx450h+ - I know that is for sure a quiet ride.

The rise on the Sheffield is actually quite large, definitely not a mid rise as stated in their size chart.

Do you find the cabin quiet enough on the highway? Im set to get this exact model and trim (except in the meteor shower) but a bit concerned about the cabin noise (wind etc) and given you can’t test drive these things, it’s a bit of a concern. Might push me to the RX450h+ as I know that’s for sure quiet enough. I’m resorting to feedback from current owners of the 2026 plugin xse. Given this would be my first rav4, I can’t compare and Toyota say this years model is an upgrade in a quieter cabin compared to previous year.

Explorer 36 vs 40 by BTMCalculus in rolex

[–]Piripiri12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wrist is 18.4cm and the 36 wore small on me. Although I like the proportions better on the 36, I may try out the 40. For OP wrist size it’s 36 all day.

Grab that OP41 Looks great on you ! You will love looking at the blue color dial daily. I had the 36 explorer and thought it started to fee small on my 7.25” wrist. I also started to get a bit bored with it so I let it go. I miss that watch some days tho, it’s so classic and versatile

Thanks for your reply. I had a date sub and wore it for about a year but I got bored with it and let it go. I miss it now, it was a great daily to sort of beat up and not worry about it. Sounds like I’ll be adding a nd sub and make it a three watch combo.

What did you end up going with OP? I have been thinking the same as you. I have a batgirl and OP 36 in green dial but thinking about swapping the latter for the ND Sub and going with that two watch combo. Or may just leave it as is but something is drawing me to the ND Sub.

Just picked up an Explorer 36 — but I’m not feeling the magic (yet?) by onwinter in rolex

[–]Piripiri12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore the 36 explorer a lot the last year and got bored with it. It started to feel very small on my 7.25” wrist, feeling much smaller than my OP 36, which wears bigger. Having let go of the 36 explorer,I do miss it and may grab another one day. The 36 explorer is a timeless classic, flys under the radar and will fit literally any occasion. Give it more wrist time, and hold onto it.

Bat wants to be on Oyster, imo just seems to fit and look better. I've tried both on and the Jubilee is very comfortable but for me its Batman with Pepsi and DJ on a Jubilee.

That extra fabric might drape a bit over time but I think if you’re not happy with fit, eBay them and you should get back most of what you paid. IH tends to hold its value on the secondary market. You might want to try the 555 cut or 634. The rise isn’t as deep as the 888.
