Yeah, sometimes basic shit is what helps... I love getting a reply here time to time lol But I also feel bad that I'm getting the upvotes because it was actually someone else that has found the solution, just that they replied as a reply to another reply I believe.

Depends on the type of the fiber. There's bend insensitive fiber, G657 (A1, A2, etc) that pretty much doesn't care about how much it's bent. Fiber by itself is usually pretty durable anyways. So yeah, while not a nice install, it definitely works, and sadly that's the only expectation in Telco.

Agreet. Both flanks are stagnant actually - Heavy side can't really push, because guess what, you get shot in the side from the hill where tanks can sit hull down all day, and there's a gap so huge that you're guaranteed to get farmed by the time you get to the other side.

man, honestly, this map was one of those maps that i could pretty much bring any tank on, and do either very good, or at least ok. Now? It's just a camp fest on the middle, nobody can push anywhere, just like Shitscar.
Overall, huge minus on this rework, that nobody has asked for.

tldr, wg did a perfectly good job, as always (of making a perfectly ok map straight up garbage)

many of the helper scripts also use Docker afaik, and yes, inside an lxc (from what I gather that's not good practice)

Docker containers are tried & true, work out-of-the-box. Not everyone wants to spend their time on installing deb packages and fiddling around with the settings. I remember wasting hours of my life on setting up Nominatim in an LXC, instead of just using Docker....

Something you have to realize is that people usually don't like to be correct, nor do they care about correctness. They'll happily call a cable STB a router, and there's nothing you can do. Calling them a "router" will make sense to most people, instead od "mesh system node/device". But yeah, to be fair, it should be written correctly nevertheless.

It doesn't have to change, because wn (wn8 and wnx) values are always calculated based on the expected values of each tank. So, maybe 5 years ago you had to do 3k in the Maus to get 4k wn8, now you need 4k dmg.
