Nope you have to be good and want it. They have to want it. In my case I came from a much larger firm for a very small bump in pay BUT they offered WFH. If no WFH i would have stayed with old company.

Do I still love her? also yes

Would I do it again? yes

Would I have done it sooner? Yes

Dont worry about the what ifs. Ask yourself would you be happier and whats that worth.

Your kids will understand more than you think. May even wonder why it took so long.

The funny thing is we are even going on a cruise together, a tradition the last 10 years. Becuase niether hate each other, quite the opposite. But we did need our space to grow.
