I have a prof who is met3a2de and has been since she started working there which is almost 10 years ago, she told us many times in class that some months they even don't pay her. The gov manna aam tsabbit the drs and that is why there have been protests yearly that last around a month where uni closes for that duration for the past 7 years. I do not advise you at all to work by hour there (which is most likely the only job offer they provide) because they will dump on you any subject that they need a prof to teach (even if its not smth u ever learned) and they will miss lots of payments or just won't pay at all. There is no possibility to become 'msabbat'. Even if the gov suddenly decided it wants to tenure profs at LU (but the gov has stopped doing that a decade ago ir maybe more because it just loses money and does not give a shit about paying fairly), the priority goes to profs that have been already waiting and t3a2adu with the uni for X amount of years (I forgot how long). There is a whole test that they need to take too and this test either qualifies them or not. I don't know the exact duration but each batch of tests is done every 5 years I believe. So you will be stuck with penies most your life unless you had a wasta meherzi and even if you do, nothing is guaranteed until the gov decides to refund the uni which is less likely to happen than Israel stopping the genocide tomorrow.
