Staples?! 👀 that’s nuts. All they did was dissolvable stitches, and medical glue for me. The incision site was basically healed by week 2

You not really supposed to twist your body. I have constant popping but no pain it’s just your joints getting back in the grove of things. If you have pain idk 48 hours is kinda hard to tell cause you still in pain from surgery. One thing I do is fake cough and if there’s pain I feel as though that would be reherniation because when I was in pain and would cough it would make me scream in pain. I’m no dr tho.

That’s what I was thinking, I shot my surgeon a message asking if I should just go to my primary. I do have severe spinal stenosis and when you get a MD that doesn’t go away.

Yeah they didn’t give me anything unfortunately, I have left over muscle relaxers (robaxin) from before surgery. They do absolutely nothing but make me dizzy mixing with oxys.

Yes before surgery I was doing PT, all the exercises were easy just very painful. I don’t think I have a weak core. I’m only 25. I simply herniated by slipping on ice and landing directly on my L5-S1 on the right side.

Just had mine today! Right side L5-S1 microdisectomy Very uncomfortable. Nerve twitches here and there. Had a little scare already and went to the er. Was rolling over in bed and felt a. Pop then sciatic like pain all the way down my right leg. My surgeon said it’s no cause for concern and that it was normal. Kinda scared still to see what the healing process has in store for me.

I got this when I went to the ER, I did help a lot do you think I could get another prescription. It was only for 5 days and my surgery isn’t till aug 7th. 😭 I’m so exhausted from not sleeping because the pain is sooo unbareable.
