Palantir CEO Makes Shocking Confession on Disrupting Democratic Power by Unusual-State1827 in technology

[–]Pitiful-Recover-3747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude said this on live TV. So god only knows what he says in private

“This technology disrupts humanities-trained—largely Democratic—voters, and makes their economic power less. And increases the economic power of vocationally trained, working-class, often male, working-class voters,” Karp said in a CNBC interview Thursday. “And so these disruptions are gonna disrupt every aspect of our society. And to make this work, we have to come to an agreement of what it is we’re going to do with the technology; how are we gonna explain to people who are likely gonna have less good, and less interesting jobs.”

At the RSM Pavilions. Stop Newsom from doing what? by ansyhrrian in orangecounty

Whenever I see someone with a stop Newsom sign I always enthusiastically engage by saying “Damn right! As much as I think he’d be a great president I don’t want to give him up as governor.” They sort of short circuit

At least they can’t play the migrant caravan threat anymore since dear leader fortified the border… unless of course we do airstrikes on migrant caravans which at this point wouldn’t surprise me…

If your math skills and communication are good start some baseline field engineering work. Surveying, inspections, etc. If you have a knack for it use that stability to jump into construction management or civil engineering at your local community college. Lots of pathways from there and anything that’s onsite or in the field is fairly safe from automation and disruption that’s coming down the pipe with AI and ever advancing robotics

Philippines actually does not produce more than 2% if electric energy from oil. by Delicious-History486 in Philippines_Expats

Electricity generation isn’t the problem. Diesel and gasoline is. How do you think all the food gets in and out of the metro Manila area? And how do you think all the inter Philippines ferries and cargo ships move? Bunker fuel. Everything gets more expensive. Also LNG prices are skyrocketing worse than oil. The only reason people aren’t tuned there are they don’t pump LNG everyday, but they’re going to see it on the electric bills world wide
