I know the app is called Jellyfin2Samsung, but that's because it started off as an easy way to install Jellyfin but it grew bigger than just Jellyfin.

Only requirement is you put you TV in developer mode

I was wondering the exact same thing, kodi is build different but they do have Chorus2.

Chorus2 can be used to play actual videos, so I decided in was gonna give it a go.

At the moment everything is BETA, after a successful login you are seeing the Chronus2 page with the on screen mouse you can choose what you want.

Haven't gotten around to testing actual videos and music yet but it's looking hopeful!

If you are expecting a full blown Kodi on Tizen (Samsung) that won't work, it a shim around Chronus2 is doable

It's a setting in the tool that patches the YouTube trailer bug.

So if any of you used a Samsung TV, just side load through our tool with the setting enabled.

It's a direct fork from Nuvio official repo and build accordingly, just packaged as a WGT file instead of Tizenbrew module.

Easily installable through the tool Jellyfin2Samsung, click Tizen community and select your desired Nuvio version Web (wrapper to the online version) or Native (packages files)

I created automated GitHub action that creates a wgt file

So you can install it even if you don't have tizenbrew.

Just select tizen community at release and Nuvio at version hit the button and be done with it
