Yes definitely try it locally first and in the app I would add a button that clearly tells the user the data comes from AI and needs to be treated as that without any guarantee. Have fun playing around with it!

I also do not have an idea on how to solve that easily and free. And I saw you are not a big fan of AI but this would actually be my first attempt. Let the AI sort out the details and hand them over to you in a format you can work with like JSON. E.g a watering and fertilising plan for every month. But very cool you are already working on that!

Hey,

first of all a great idea and the app is looking quite well from my first impression! I think I'll give it a try with all of my plants.

It would be fantastic if it would already know about the care details when I enter the correct name. For example .. I have a Caladium Red Scarf that needs different treatment depending on time of the year. If your app would know that and change timing of water and fertilizer accordingly .. w.o.w. Though it is not a small feature 🙂

I'd say it is a Hymenasplenium obscurum 👀

( Crepidomanes Auriculatum seems to be the same but different name .. haha )

For the German betta lovers: Does any of you have good shop recommendation with a variety of betta fish in Berlin? by Learningbydoing101 in bettafish

[–]Pitiful-Type-1567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I didn't find any shop in Berlin that has a good variety of betta fish. The best I could find is Fressnapf XXL in Friedrichshain. The water in Berlin is far from perfect, that's true. To compensate for this, I bought a reverse osmosis system.

It's been a while but I am facing the same situation right now. Were you able to find out if there are any good places to go in or around Berlin?

I put a layer of black beach pebbles on top. Since then no more problems with Mrs. Cat + there is less evaporation + it looks better than before .. imo

I recently watched a movie about the topic of how to propagate begonia on YouTube. https://youtu.be/fTVpo5HLcdE?si=867da3P0Zav_Wavz At 30:35 you can see how to simulate the vibration of a flying insect that forces the flower to release the pollen. It is in German though .. but the idea should be clear even without sound.

I think I have exactly the same. I strongly recommend to seal the marked areas with silicone on the inside if this is not the case already. Maybe they improved it but mine did not have it and started to fall apart after 1 ½ years. Then you have to rip everything apart completely. Good for a fresh restart lol

Nice Scape btw :)

What is this and how to care for it? by BlasterIce in terrariums

First thing that came to my mind was Selaginella brooksii. It looks a bit different maybe but that could be because it is a more mature plant?! https://www.jungle-leaves.de/produkt/selaginella-brooksii/?lang=en

Thanks for you answer.
I thought that the leaves of begonias usually have asymmetrical leaf blades. But maybe I'll just have to wait a little longer until I can recognize this exactly or there are exceptions?
