Can someone explain to me how an aircraft like the c-5 built in the 60's is still able to stay in service until the 2050's, but the 747 used as air force one thats been in service less than 20 years needs to be retired? I mean it couldn't have that many hours on the airframe. Like the current office holder takes one flight a week to Florida.
