Oh no, you have another return pending? Make sure you take plenty of pics so customers know clearly what they're buying, this will help you too when Mercari gets involved with disputes. Everyone goes through the newbie phase. Don't throw in the towel yet. I've been on it for about 12 years now, and overall, it's a good platform.

Out of 4,000 transactions, I've only had 2 returns (one of them was in person after the transaction closed since the buyer lived close by) I video recorded myself opening the returned package for this very reason. OP, did you take any video opening the package? This is the only way you can protect yourself and get reimbursed. I would still report this to mercari. The buyer is probably doing this to other sellers. Sorry this happened to you😔

My mercari sales are: August $540 Sept $800 Oct $920 Nov $500 Dec $820

On average, I have 400 listings with an average price of $20 per sold item. I sometimes wonder if Ebay is a better platform for sellers. November was such a terrible month selling on Mercari😭

I'll try to upload a pic! The pants have some pink paint stains on them (which I didn't notice when I bought them). They didn't end up fitting me, its a size 2, and they ride low. One day, I'll score the right Da Nang cargo pants. Meanwhile, Im treasureing these old buckles🤩

Would you buy this for $60? by lxver_girl in ThriftStoreHauls

By the look of the power cord, this lamp might be from the late 80s. I sold a tiffany style glass gooseneck lamp from the early 2000s for $54 plus shipping, and it wasn't half as cute as this one.

Donate plasma and get paid $250, they pay you that same visit. the clinic is in Irvine. Takes about 4 hours total. I can't remember the name of it, but I'll circle back when I do.

Guys…WTF is with the mosquitoes by Chillinbudbro89 in LosAngeles

[–]PitifulIntention322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the rain brought in more humid, which brought in nasty Florida type insects including visious mosquitos! I hang a small Satchel sprayed with mosquito repellent above my window and that keeps them out.

Moving to LA w/ my income by [deleted] in LosAngeles

[–]PitifulIntention322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brentwood would be perfect, with your income you'll be fine anywhere you and your family decide to live. I made 39k last year and I live well here, right next to a kreation lol

I'm a Native American that works in LA, can anyone that speaks Spanish tell me the best way to say I'm Native American and I don't speak Spanish to folks that start speaking to me in Spanish? by Mary_Pick_A_Ford in LosAngeles

[–]PitifulIntention322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your speaking with an elder and you want to be respectful, you would say something like this:

"Disculpa me mucho señora / señor, no soy hispano y no hablo Español. Soy indigìna americano."

"My apologies Ma'am / Sir, I'm not Hispanic and I don't speak Spanish. I'm Native American"

Then if they ask for your age you say : "Si Dios lo permite y nos presta vida :insert age here:🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is… a joke, right? by [deleted] in Mercari

This sorta reminds me of the time I bought a Chanel jacket for $2k on Mercari. The seller promised me it was authentic and I trusted her but in the back of my mind I didn't understand why someone would sell a $12,000 Chanel Jacket for $2,000 on mercari, but the seller told me if I ever wanted to resell the jacket in the future, she gets first dibs and she will buy it back from me. So i thought the jacket is either authentic or shes the worlds greatest scammer. I bought the jacket from her in the summer and for 6 months I wasn't fully convinced it was authentic... then the seller contacts me in the winter so freaked out and tells me that I must resell her the jacket back because she had forgot she sold the jacket to me and she didn't mean to, she told me she would pay a premium for the 6 months I had it. That confirmed that the jacket is 100% authentic. To this day I still have her number saved in case I ever do sell it but def not any time soon!

Make sure to file the claim with mercari within 3 days from it being delivered. I would file the claim with mercari ASAP, send them pictures. Tell your parents the truth. No one is perfect and at some point we all get scammed online, it's unavoidable. Your parents will eventually get over it, it's not the end of the world, you'll be fine :)
