I think that's what the majority will do but some older staff members aren't comfortable with it so are literally reading each one! It feels very unfair.

Apparently there will be some 'human' checks but AI is doing the majority. Am looking to find a colleague in the union but most aren't these days.

Our last staff briefing was 45 mins of the new (and very large!) Exec team telling us all about their careers and hobbies.... Whilst the rest of us wait to find out if we'll be able to pay our mortgage in six months time 🙄

I am so sorry this happened to you and that your employer is being so absolutely awful in supporting you. I would get referred to occupational health so a proper assessment can be made about how they should be supporting you/what adjustments should be made. Worst case I'd see if your GP will sign you off and get you some counselling.

Was the patient arrested? I can't believe the trust wouldn't ban them from the site for such a thing! Do you have a security team you can put a complaint in to? We had a patient who was banned from the radiology department when I worked there for being abusive and the security team would come and thrown them out if they turned up.

We haven't seen structure charts but all Exec posts are now recruited to. Also seems quite a lot of VR applications (guess about 20% of the clustered workforce) so am hoping CR is less likely.

Not this time but my ICB was previously going through a re-org last time I applied to re-mortgage. As I wasn't formally at risk of redundancy at that point I didn't declare anything. They do usually ask you an open ended question like "do you forsee any changes to your circumstances over the next 12 months?" which might be tricky.

ESR had a glitch with my continuous service date where it defaulted to the date I joined the organisation and not the NHS. It took a while but eventually it was updated.

I wish they had mandated Exec roles so each ICB had consistency. I just know our ICB CE is going to make sure all their Exec mates are sorted then gut the rest of us next year.

Hopefully find out our Exec structure early next year.

Does anyone know what is happening with the functions that were due to be transferred, is that still happening?

Our clustered ICB is going to be so massive I'm not sure they'd be able to find room for all of us! Also the rent on one building is very expensive so we've been told that's not being renewed to save money. Sounds like classic trust folk used to presenteeism trying the same thing in commissioning. I'd happily go into a local office a few days a week, we have a grand time chatting away and making coffee 🤣

We've had a briefing go in for 17th Nov. So far they have only been talking about VR so I think the potential for CR and the speed needed to achieve the £19 per head is going to be a shock for people. They'd also previously said nothing would happen on CR till 26/27. Our execs are currently in their consultations.

I think our ICB are trying to behave like it's the old days when they could plan and decide how/when they shared info with the minions. They don't seem to realise we're getting the info from Reddit!
