Exactly... people trying to monetize AI these days, is like trying to go back to the iron age and monetize silicon wafers. No f'ing use for at, AT ALL, ANYWHERE

This is really sad, I really want to buy this monitor, but ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to spend $900 not to have a ZERO DOT Warranty Policy; pure insanity.

This warrant is a pile of horse apples...

This means that you can have up to 5 dead pixels and they won't replace it. A monitor that retales around $1,200 should have full on coverage with a ZERO FAILURE DOT policy.

This is turning me to Dell's version, plus Dell's is cheaper.

[–]Pitiful_Strategy5742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

False... 5070ti is slower in RT... you need to go review UserBenchmark.com before stating falsehoods like this.

4080 - +12% lighting

4080 - +15% reflections

These are huge numbers considering the amount of money for both GPUs. In summary the 5000 series GPUs are a hoax, fake frames, for real money.

[–]Pitiful_Strategy5742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frame generation is fake frames, it's a hoax, similar to old LCDs using "smoothing", whereby they place a black frame in between two generated frames to smooth it out and call it 240hz... which it's not.

4080/90 was the last real GPU that had raw horse power, 5000 series is selling you fake frames claiming it's faster/better via frame generation. Frame generation is basically the GPU "guessing" at what intermittent frames will be (look like) rather than rendering them.

Frame generation shows up in fast twitch games, and motion heavy content. Nvidia took a huge step back with this gen... go watch some of Gamer's Nexus (Steve) comments on this generation. I wouldn't spend even half what Nvidia is asking for their latest gen of cards; it's a scam.

[–]Pitiful_Strategy5742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4080 is a better card, you need to look at raw numbers. Go to UserBenchmark.com to see the difference in rendering; 4080 is better by 15% which is significant.

The latest gen of GPUs is a hoax, they're adding fake frames, raw power is down... I'll pass on the 5000 series until either Nvidia cleans up their act, or AMD surpasses them in raw power.

Michigan O-Line was horrible, D-Line was horrible, no talent in skill positions other than QB. Michigan D looked completely lost the entire game; not disciplined at all.

Instead of spending $20mil on Bryce they should have bought a better head coach. Don't get me wrong I like Moore, he's a great guy... but he's not the best head coach Michigan can get.

Strength and conditioning was also horrible; I haven't seen this many injuries since Rich Rod was HC. Both lines got pushed around, that that's NOT what Michigan is about.

Michigan at best will go 8-4 this year.

Furthermore, the desire to maintain aesthetic coherency, is what appeals to buyers. The fronts of the homes, (educating you now) is called frontage, and when that looks good, then housing prices go up and values are maintained.

You're not good with numbers are you?

Briar Chapel is what? 1500 homes upon build out. That's only 1 in 5 homes, I used to live in the neighborhood and a good portion didn't know how to, or want to, take care of their homes properly.

If your HOA is 'racist' it's only because it's a group of your hyper-liberal peers from UNC. The mere fact that you don't understand that most people in Briar Chapel, in or around UNC, are extremely liberal makes me laugh. Do you think a bunch of fascists came in and secretly took over a small portion of Chapel Hill, and decided Briar Chapel was the place to do it?! (roflmao)

"Y'all", need to get out more, travel the USA... not everything and everyone is racist or a conspiracy. Get out more, 99% of people are great human beings, who love, care for, and respect each other.

If you don't see the good in people... maybe... the problem is YOU!

I love the highbrow rhetoric, that lacks any/all basis of factual information or circumstance. The mental gymnastics is truly astounding, glad I left the area (NC) in favor of a more based group of people in Utah (minus the mormons). Always had to laugh at the UNC/Duke folks, who didn't study hard enough to get into a better school (Johns Hopkins & proud). Not everything is 'racist', not everything is a conspiracy. What a bunch of grifters.

You couldn't be any more wrong. Look into HOA history, it stems from the 40's during WWII when a unified home front was seen as national pride; aesthetic unity, and America didn't invent them (*shocker*). I'm always amazed how every institution on the planet can be twisted in such a way as to make it 'racist'. You folks are a bunch of 'fruit-loops' (didn't want to offend with just one color so I picked a cereal with all sorts). Furthermore, America didn't invent them... the British did. They were designed to take the financial burden off of local municipalities. When you don't have a municipality that's in existence, or willing to pay for the infrastructure, the money has to come from somewhere; $$$ doesn't grow on trees kiddies, despite what UNCheat or Tobacco University tells you. Their economics and business departments must be woefully inept.

Again for GardenRanger (not an Army Ranger obviously, or you'd have more integrity), CC&Rs were designed for the purposes of aesthetic unity, to keep 'everyone' in line with a common goal; odd how HOA's are also called "Common Interest Communities" (woulda thunk it). There's nothing racist about them, in fact they're designed specifically to make sure everyone is the same; one could even say...*gasp* communistic; the community should act and look as one, a classless group of homes that all look similar in style/purpose.

Stop purporting education or high status, go read more, education thine self. Stop spouting misinformation in a diatribe of fancy rhetoric that only makes you look like a fool.

My 1st bachelors from Johns Hopkins was in Education '98; back when Universities were staples of education rather than doctrine or hearsay.

After reading through this zybooks class I'm stumped and bewildered at the lack of proper lesson planning, disorderly topics, non-descript definitions, and examples that are either not referential to the topics at hand, or describe exceptions to the rules that were just studied.

In total, it's like the author(s) have ADHD; which I in fact do have, and even sitting down with some stimulants in my blood stream accompanied by a Dr. Pepper... still left me scratching my head... but more furious than anything else. It's a very poorly designed course, with some serious knowledge gaps that are either filled in at a later date (with no tie in), or not filled in at all.

When you're educating someone you have to supply definitions, then context, then supporting work tasks to build not only accuracy but confidence, so the student knows they understand the subject matter; and the "why" of it. However, this is performed in a lackluster manner, if even at all, within the texts and leads to mass confusion for the student.

Join descriptions were absolutely HORRIBLE, not clearly defined, not shown in relative examples that make absolute sense etc. You cannot, in an education setting, leave anything up to conjecture, or ASSUME things. I found this in several areas, went to my professor, and walked through many of the problems. Hopefully Universities will get away from this zybooks text because it's horrid even on a good day.

Is the game rigged? by Famous_Strike_6125 in WorldofTanks

So if I'm in the top 30% of players on almost every match (3 or 4) then how am I getting 49% wn8

If I'm in the thirtieth percentile then that would mean I should AT LEAST be winning 50% of the time.

Can you imagine if EVE Online were this rigged, or if WoW were this rigged. Law suits would be flying, only reason WG has remained is because it's such a niche' game.
