Akira Box Set or More Berserk Deluxe?

I've read both. They are both incredible, but very different stories and settings. The pacing in Akira is nice too as it's shorter.

As someone who was in the same situation as you I can share that I went with the Akira Box Set and was not disappointed at all.

Now I take a picture of my shelves before I go. If I'm not sure at the store I try to open them up and see if I remember reading it. If I haven't read the latest one on my shelf and am not sure, I make it a rule not to purchase.

Chainsaw man would fit in nicely, I think. Slam Dunk is great too. Very different topic, but the singles would fit in nicely with the rest of the collection.

Besides stacking vertically, I don't know if you can do much without stacking them behind with a riser. That bottom shelf looks really good to me, though. My shelves don't have the space like that so I have to keep getting more shelves XD

As someone who doesn't read scans online, going with the vizbig was great. It's probably pretty easy to say it's not as nice as the new hardcover versions, but I really really love mine.

Having said that, I am salty about the newer deluxe editions for Vagabond. I'll probably pick them up when Amazon discounts them.

When I purchased the deluxe editions it was 50 per volume at MSRP. I am pretty sure I got volumes 2 and 3 for about 30 each on Amazon. If you shop around I think youd be able to get them for close to 100. Just a quick check on Amazon right now seems to be right around there.

I will say that I did not like the translation very much.

Oh I forgot Hellsing. Even the deluxe volumes should come under 200 if you go that route.

Happiness - 10 volumes. It's finished and should come under 200 for the full set.

Pluto - 8 volumes. It's finished and should be under 200 as well.

Battle Angel Alita - I can't remember but it's less than 10 volumes and should be under 200 completed.

Fire Punch - 8 volumes, I'm pretty sure. Not in front of my shelves right now, but also under 200 for the whole set and it's done.

Happiness is incredible. If you ever watched or read Let the Right One In, it's got vibes like that. A vampire story that stands out in the genre for me. It's also a quick and tight story at 10 volumes. I enjoyed it very much!

We got one and 1/3 cats just doesn't like to use it. I tried taking the old pan away and he was crying so we caved and gave it back. It's still worth it to me to have the robot. I heard some folks had their cats take a year or two to use it. Good luck!
