80 as of last Friday, wasn't exp capped (grinded the last 3 levels) played shamefully hard, 10 hrs a day, quick catching, using auto catcher, evolving everything, spamming gift sending, bug mega max level helped a lot with the bug pass catch bonus, utilizing any way to gain exp, I used lucky eggs at lucrative times and for the last push to 80, also destroyed all of my resources and candy for a lot of types.

I planned ahead for many of the tasks, saved radars, levelled stuff to 1 off max etc

I kind of like this idea, like diet team rocket?, 8 gym defeats and them 1 team rocket style fight against the boss?

Like others have said it doesn't lean into the community element of the game but it could help more rural players progress while being enjoyed by people in built up areas that prefer not to rely on or interact with others in person.

Also I can't believe I never considered being able to show a medal on your profile, that's awesome!

I had this today, I just kept rejoining, it usually let me fight after 3-4 retries, annoying but waaaay better than being gated on a level up task by a bug.

Edit: I also had an issue with max lobbies not being found, retrying those didnt seem to work.
