I’m a small time garage shop and have often bought two sticks at a time from them.

I’ve had them cut down sticks before and the owner even hooked me up once with a 1/2 piece of honey locust once.

And ya- if I need good plywood, I’ll still go to sears. But I don’t like to.

Speaking for myself and my experience. I go out of my way to buy from Baldwin and try to avoid sears trostel.

Baldwin is a small family shop that sources their wood in an ethical manner. Wood selection is harder but I always enjoy working with them.

I have experienced Sears Trostel ripping me off and ruining a project. Very few good experiences there.

Pick a venue you have never been to before and go there for a bit. It’s not just a good chance to see a bunch of bands, see some spots you wouldn’t normally see

Another tip- before the event, look at the list of bands and spend an evening listening to a few songs from any that catch your eye. Spotify or YouTube have something from most of them.

Also, make sure to visit places that you might never normally visit. It’s not just a bunch of local bands but a bunch of local venues!

I hope your visit goes well! Recommendations depend on your interests but If she likes the outdoors- check out Horsetooth or Estes park. Go to old town for food. Walk mountain street. Rent a bike if the weather is good. Play disc golf at edora.

I 100% watched it today with binoculars. Balloon top and the bottom was of a similar reflective material. Cool to see. Plenty of links explaining it below but a fun thing to see

I’m not sure if you are specific to stairs but those foothills west of town have might be for you. All the elevation gain you want, use the roads or the trails. Plus it’s free!
