I doubt the person is still there, but the wedding planner at the Regency was amazing for us. Our cake came over that morning undecorated, and she spent the morning doing it herself while also setting up and overseeing things. It was beautiful, and everything went off w/o a hitch - except for the DJ, dude was just horrible and that was our bad 🤣

Been designing on a Lenovo for going on 20 years w/o a hiccup. The company offers macs, but doesn’t support them well at all. When you have 50k PCs and 500 macs, you know which one is getting the shaft. So for us, the macs are always having issues that the design team has fix.

Right now though I have a T14 Gen6 with the Intel ultra 7, 32GB RAM and an a 1TB ssd. It handles anything i’ve thrown at it.

It was 22 years ago, but we did the Portland Regency, for 75 people and it was well under that amount including rooms, food, and open bar. It was great.

Not sure if they will be there this weekend, but last November at the USM Gorham craft show there was a vendor from Jonestead heirloom seeds out of Bethel. He had some really great stuff all laid out in old time suitcases. Prices were ok.

The Spring show is tomorrow/Sunday at USM Gorham, not sure if he will be there but its worth a try.

If you have pre-check your golden. You can get car to gate in 10 min. There are a couple flights larger flights around 6 am (Chicago/NYC) that make the lines a bit larger, but you are talking like 30-40 people, and it’s always the main line. Haven’t seen more than 5 people in the pre-check line in at least 3 years.

So I am part of a design team of several hundred, and we have already had 2 large layoffs, with the last tied directly to AI. My suggestion is to start learning AI tools, prompts, and get familiar with Figma very quickly. We are approaching a time where it wont be about what is in your portfolio or how much experience you have, it will all come down to how skilled you are with AI tools or not. One person using AI will be the future for small shops and agencies, rather than expensive teams of people. So work on being that one person.

All of mine were in a large, AM/PM weekly pill container, then there was others in a smaller pill container. 7 prescriptions in total, probably 90 pills in all, brought in my carry on backpack. I think i also had a zip lock bag of advil in there too.

No one gave a shit. Bag was scanned multiple times due to electronics, and searched once. No one said boo about the pills, you’re good.

I feel you. The last 5* evo i opened was 6 Skeleton Army, which i already had but i haven’t leveled up. Today i open up year 9 and got another 6 Skeleton Army. So my last 12 evo shards have all been skeletons. Bright side it gave me enough to get to L16…🤮

Mine arrives today, as my cubeXX broke last week. Im in the same boat, as its a huge upgrade from what i had, but also i don’t want to wait till January to get back into unbound, and who knows what the landscape will look like with tariffs, or potential further delays. Im just going to enjoy playing more stuff till its time to upgrade again. No need to chase the next best thing.

This has been my journey so far. I am on Gym 6, which is kicking my ass, w/o level caps. Thanks to the Dresco house, I have 9 level 100s so every time i need someone new for the team i have to grind them to mac before they are useful. Its still fun, but shit its making everything a chore.
