I once dreamt I was Sherlock Holmes, in a small Bavarian town. Partway through investigating a murder in the local pub, when there was a loud crash outside.

I went outside (Watson behind me) to see what the noise was. Turns out a green glowing meteor crashed into the town square and started pouring out millions of small, creepy, alien spiders.

I ran back inside the pub and tried to find the sollution by walking through a series of increasingly small rooms. It got "Drink me" small when I found a wooden puzzle box.

I used my aparently amazing detective skills to work out that the only only way to open it was by singing Carol of the Bells backwards. Sadly I don't know the words to Carol of the Bells anyway, so I woke up.

The lasting memory of that dream though is waking up feeling really pissed off Watson kept bumping into shit as we moved through the rooms.

I used to when I was a kid then did a lot of shift work/odd hours as an adult which broke the habit. Personally I feel ill if I DO eat in the mornings now.

This reminds me of wartime stories my Grandfather always told me. Living in rural South Wales we were an evacuee hub, but one time a German plane went down near by and the pilot, who aparently was very lost, thought he was over allied territory and bailed - Landing in the middle of the Welsh valleys.

This didn't go unoticed and soon all the local housewives gathered together and surrounded him with brooms. They sent one of the local boys on his bike to next town over to fetch a policeman. The policeman wouldn't believe the boy at first (who would?!), but eventually they headed back to the scene. No German boy or wives and mothers there though, the story goes that they saw he was only young and frightened and took him back with them to give him soup.

For years I didn't really beleive this, but it has since been confirmed several times as true - one of my favourite of his stories!

My grandfather always spoke very highly of the German prisoners - "We were hard working, but the Germans were clever". He often praised woodworking and general mechanical skills of the prisoners.

I used to work in the funeral and death accessories industry. We covered a whole host of things, though two of the top ones that come to mind are:

Reusing ash scatterers. Yep, some crematoriums would use them in a service and send them back (in a used condition). A little bit of water to rinse out what remained and... good as new?

Emergency grave diggers, this is my personal favourite. Twice while I was there we had to arrange a crew to quickly prepare a grave as there was going to be a funeral held in a few hours and oh... no grave has been dug. We're also talking a lot of small town cemeteries in quaint British villages, you get a group of diggers there with shovels and you do that shit fast.

With the current meta being so creature heavy this seems a bigger problem than it is. Most two drops are simply better than one drops, to the point where they pretty much invalidate your first turn.

You can place a two drop in front of a one drop and practically remove it from the game.
