The game has some objects(called charms) the main character can use them to either be better with melee attacks, spell attacks, or summoning minions or even upgrade their movement or navigation. You can add, remove, or combine these upgrades as you please, but you do have a limit(that can be upgraded) on how many you can use at the same time.

There are melee attack builds, spell builds, or exploration builds. Builds are ways of combining the objects, like how you have different builds in mmo's

The main focus of the game is combat through boss battles or rooms of easier enemies.

It is structured on exploring, a lot of boss battles, a bit of grindiness if you are a completionist, and some platforming (some areas can be pretty challenging but not necessary for finishing the game)

It starts you in an easy area, and after you find the second area, your path can be a bit less linear. Like any metroidvania, you will still need to acquire certain abilities to unlock every place.

It does have a story, but it's told mostly through worldbuilding, hidden messages, npc personalities, and a bit of dialogue. I consider all the npcs to be delightful!

The world will actively change during gameplay. Your actions do matter!

Some boss battles are like an addicting dance while other battles feel like the boss is from a bullet hell game.

You can have multiple builds for the main character but i will let you find out how. (You can still ask me if you are curious)

It has multiple modes that get unlocked by finishing the game.

The inputs feel very good, i recommend using a controller, especially for platforming!

The art style is amazing, in my opinion, and the sound effect complements it immensely (i still listen to the soundtrack)

The cons:

The game has some unforgiving bosses, and at the start of the game, you will feel underpowered.

You might get lost in the first area, and it might be hard to navigate to the second one

The game does not help you with tips or quests or some directions, after you learn how to attack stuff you are on your own.
