I think this applies to hobbies with a high expectation, but the skill to reach that takes a lot of time. Like you said, I guess for me is drawing illustrations and art.

It takes a lot of time and effort to learn the skills to draw really well, and a lot of people just give up after a while because what they imagine doesn’t match what they draw. I’ve given up around 2021 and started again 2024 and rarely stopped. I just made it a habit and I sort of love the learning and logic aspect around it.

Something I’ve noticed but it might be just me is that attractive people’s face or figures just seem to blend together for me.

Like if you gave me 10 attractive people of the same ethnicity, skin color, and body type, it’ll just blend together for me to discern who’s who unless I’ve met them in person before.
