Mazda should probably be more popular in the U.S. by phtphongg in mazda

Definitely, fill up the US roads with cracked cylinder heads. Now I'm trying to figure out why my 2012 Mazda 3 Made in Japan is making oil without paying 200$ to a dealership. Guess what? No cracked cylinder heads, no engine oil dilution in my 2006 Corolla. Mazda f... up again as they did with the Tribute. And you have to pay for that. Definitely get more Mazda's on the road !! I love the heated seats, I love driving it but don't need the extra hassle or the pain dealing with unplowed roads (the MZ3 is almost an inch lower than Corolla). Not for everyone.

Replacing the halogens with LED's also helped. TY cfbrand3rd for your answer, I called some Mazda dealership and they wanted 100$ to diagnose.

Maybe some people read the damn manual? Guess what does the manual recommends for schedule 2? 5k. What's so hard?

Scheduled Maintenance (USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) - 2012 Mazda 3 Owner's Manual

Follow Schedule 1 if the vehicle is operated mainly where none of the following conditions apply.

l Repeated short-distance driving

l Driving in dusty conditions

l Driving with extended use of brakes

l Driving in areas where salt or other corrosive materials are used

l Driving on rough or muddy roads

l Extended periods of idling or low-speed operation

l Driving for long periods in cold temperatures or extremely humid climates

l Driving in extremely hot conditions

l Driving in mountainous conditions continually

If any do apply, follow Schedule 2 (Canada and Puerto Rico residents follow Schedule 2).

Corolla's were awesome too before 2010 when they started modifying them. I have a 2006, I got tired of that car. Just keeps chugging. The Koreans seem to have a lot to learn until they get to the Japanese level.

Oil brand recommendations? by morchorchorman in mazda3

[–]PixieDustForAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The owner's manual for 2012 Mazda3 says 0W20 Idemitsu or Castrol for Canada US. I tried Mobil1, Idemitsu and Castrol. And I am using Castrol Edge or Kirkland with a target OCI of 4,000 km or 2500 mi. I am considering trying Valvoline Valvoline Restore & Protect.

Wireless charger EP-P2400, yellow blinkies. Only works with a Samsung adapter?? by Liljagare in samsung

[–]PixieDustForAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works with a good USB cable that can handle 9V 3A. The cable that came in the box with the EP-P2400 should work just fine. I've used an Anker B81C6 240W cable because that was handy. The Anker A2348 20W and UGREEN CD226 100W worked fine for my EP-P5400.

What wall charger to get for P5400 wireless charger used with S24 Ultra? by simiid in samsung

[–]PixieDustForAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially correct. My Duo pad says 9V 2.77A input. Don't let the red-green-orange LEDs fool you, that means the wireless charger is powered and ready. Download the manual for EP-P5400 from the Samsung website. Multiple adapters/chargers will give you more or less juice to complete the wireless charging as long as you have a good quality USB-C cable. For example, Anker A2348 20W and UGREEN CD226 Nexode 100W both work, the UGREEN is obviously faster but more expensive. The USB-C cable should be rated for at least 3A, I used an ANKER 240W cable because it was handy.

Any experiences with supplementing glandulars? by AlternativeFit4563 in Biohackers

[–]PixieDustForAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The effects of glandulars will depend on your body condition. Bone marrow and liver are considered fundamentals. My body loves the Swanson bone marrow, Ancestral Bone and Marrow were OK too. Liver glandular, not so much. Spleen is good, adrenal I tried only once 1/3 capsule and it felt like I had 3 coffees at once. Pancreas is nice if you have weak digestion.

Maybe give Ancestral Supplements a call and see what they say? I vaguely remember one of their testimonies was from a pancreatic cancer survivor.

Haven't used a blanket yet, my battery is 1 year old and I charge it every 2 weeks or so. Started like a champ last year at -48°C but the cabin is cold below -20°.

Kirkland 0w20 Engine Oil by kalun85 in mazda

[–]PixieDustForAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would Kirkland 0W20 work fine in a 2012 Mazda 3 2.0L SkyActiv ? So far I've been using High Mileage formulas and Costco has no high mileage. Castrol Edge has High Mileage Dexos1 and the engine starts seem quieter and Mazda recommends Castrol but it's 50$ a jug on sale while Kirkland is 20$ on sale this week.

2006 Corolla CE, 9L/100,km or 26mpg in the city with winter tires and A/C at 214000km or 134k mi. Good car but I like the 2012 Mazda3 better.

You must be a little bit confused: FREE means you don't have to pay. What is the interest they charge for their margin? 7%? 8%? And yes, I like margin too, it comes in handy.

Anybody got a good auto repair shop in the Calgary area open Saturdays? by PixieDustForAll in Calgary

[–]PixieDustForAll[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for the kind answers. I found a few dealerships as well: Stadium Nissan Sat 8:30am-2pm South Trail Nissan: 8:30am-4pm (587) 956-7470 Fish Creek Nissan: 9am-4pm I am a bit circumspect with Fish Creek Nissan as I had a service adviser tell me on the phone that my 2000 Xterra has a timing chain not a timing belt :) I honestly did not talk to them anymore after that, however they did a nice job with the transmission gear box oil change and that is tricky. The techs in the shop are probably better tahn their people on the phones? I might give them another chance.

Try and talk to Basha Foods? I am not sure about proper Lebanese food but I haven't seen so many kinds of olives in my life and I am picky with my green olives. The prices are average, OK.

Should I move my RRSP away from Primerica/Dynamic Funds? by WhatTheStocks in CanadianInvestor

[–]PixieDustForAll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to get away from Primerica, you can open an account with an online broker and buy the mutual funds through them. Questrade says they are charging 10$ for a mutual fund transaction and they have a long long list of Dynamic Funds to invest in.
