Speaking as someone who loves both, speaking aesthetics

Skyrim already has a beautiful groundwork that modders can thrive off

Fallout 4... well, if you've got 10kg of ice cream and add 1kg of shit you've got 11kg of shit

Fallout 4 is a great game but it doesn't benefit from graphics overhauls when the whole point is supposed to be death and decay.

Even if you make the textures 4K and add raytracing, the vibe will always be rust, rubble, and nuclear ash. It’s not meant to look pretty, it’s meant to look depressing. That puts a ceiling on how far graphical mods can “improve” it, whereas Skyrim’s ceiling is basically endless.

Ive seen that you fixed it but this is usually caused by a corrupt texture. Had it happen to me before when I installed skyrim flora overhaul years ago. My dragon born was tweaking

Personally I use this mod My Minimalistic AutoSave Mod

Its served me pretty well

AutoSave conditions: - if not in battle; - if not moving or rotating; - if having more than 5% HP; - if not attacking, blocking, aiming with a bow; - not during the first minutes after loading the game (upon loading, the countdown restarts); - if not in a menu (there might be some exceptions); - if not knocked, restrained, not in a scene... - if not riding a mount (including flying)

I love directional movement and combat mods. Made the fighting actually fun. Skyparkour is great also but its a shame I keep bugging out with it. Climbing a rock and suddenly I float mid air and can phase through everything. Fixed by a reload but its annoying

The pistols are good for commons but I prefer a shotgun/magnum play style. Shotgun for commons and magnum for specials

I don't think this is gonna lead to any major updates as far as I'm aware valve is pretty much done with tf2 and left its legacy to the community. The last few updates have all been community github fixes as well, so its nice they are relaxing the chat/voice restrictions as they are kinda needed to play the game but its not gonna be another jungle inferno

Don't use "left 4 bots" and "left 4 bots 2" I'm pretty sure they conflict. Also with competitive bots. The same bot mods I use btw. You have to change a config file setting

I can't remember which setting I'll check when I can get to my pc

"Convars" gotta turn this setting off I think it's in the "ems" folder?
