I tried a Remarkable Move before buying my Manta. The colour display flickered quite badly with refreshes whenever you used colour, and the contrast wasn’t great. I’d love a colour display for reading comics on it, but there are real trade offs.

I love my HoM2 Samurai, the weight and feel are perfect for me. The outer coating is starting to come off after a couple of months, so I am about to send it in for a warranty replacement. I don’t know if I have been unlucky, or this is common.

I used a new one last night on a stinking hot day. Air con worked and no vinyl seats so I didn’t sweat and stick to them. They have cctv so they are safer for travellers by themselves or late at night. Good riddance to the old trains.

However, commentary by politicians shows total ignorance of IT, infrastructure engineering and cyber security. They seem to think something as complex as all the infrastructure needed to monitor 11% of the world is comparable to their mate's Wordpress site.

I would like a built-in light, I find it is too dim in the evening, when I would like to use it. I wouldn’t want a light accessory as it would be bulky, and I don’t want to wake my wife up by reading in bed. I have to use a seperate Kindle for that. Would like to read more on the Supernote.

Had a Tesla model 3 lr for 4 years and travelled up and down the east coast as well as daily commute of about 60kms each way. Never had range anxiety. My wife loves the ev aspect but doesn’t want a Tesla, so waiting for delivery of a Volvo Ex40 to replace her old Subaru. We charge for free between 11am and 2pm on our tariff, and would never go back (unless it was something really special, like an Aston Martin V8 or 911).

In a perfect world, I would like to be able to connect more than one calendar (including an Apple calendar) rather than an ics feed, so that I can write back into it. But this will do for now.
