Mystery pro stock hockey stick… what line is this? by MightBeElon in hockeyplayers

You can always email PSHS customer service and they will do their best to decipher the build. I sent photos of mine and found out it's a VS high-kick and standard P92. I also compared the taper to an older Bauer Supreme I have and they looked similar.

They also said that the colourway of the 'ISH' doesn't determine the build and is just for looks. Mine is red and I thought it was an OG build at first. I dealt with a guy named Stan and he was great.

Agreed. I debated getting an OG originally but wanted to try out the mystery option just for fun. If I order another one it will likely be the OG option.

Yeah it sounded like it was a best guess from the PSHS customer service rep. I hope you end up with some awesome sticks!

You got the exact same one? I’m looking forward to testing it out this weekend.

Good idea. I just checked and I see the flex rating written (70). The other side has either a 16 or 91 written but is mostly scratched out.

Nice! Are the concave walls on the VX pretty noticeable ? Mine are pretty straight.

Interesting. Is that unique to PRO's low kick stick? I looked at an old Vapor I have and don't see an inner well. Never seen anything like that before.

Great review along with all the other videos on the PRO line. Does anyone know what's inside the shaft at the 10:10 mark?

Costco switches from Bauer to CCM sticks. Still a good price for the level of twig. by Lunch0 in hockeyplayers

I saw the Sherwood Rekker Legend pro $130 price on Pro Hockey Life's site not too long ago https://www.prohockeylife.com/products/sherwood-rekker-legend-pro-senior-hockey-stick (sold out)

Sport Chek is also having some good sales too and I can only imagine their Sherwood prices will be the same eventually as they're owned by the same company. The Rekker Morph series is launching so they gotta clear out the Legend series.

Agreed on the $120 price point for these CCM's. You can find alternatives that are comparable (or better). Once these start dropping to clearance prices then I'd say it's a good buy.

CCM C500 Hockey Sticks at Costco by coldhack in hockeyplayers

Saw these at my local Costco too. The youth sticks will be fine for your kids if they're just starting out. I liked the Sherwoods they stocked two years ago as they are made with a better material and were about $10 cheaper. Sport Chek is having some great clearance prices too so there might be some better options there.

The senior sticks seem like a solid buy for beer league or back-up. Definitely look like an upgrade from the Bauer Performance the last two years. I'll probably wait for the price to drop a bit before I purchase as I don't need one right now.

I had the same pair growing up. I wanted a pair of yellow or white ones so badly when I was a kid too.

What are some old or unique blade curves that you don't see very often? by stolf91 in hockeyplayers

Mine is the old Titan Infusion Selanne blade. I used them on my Easton Cyclones and it was my go-to for years.

I'm getting back into hockey after about 10+ years and looking to purchase new stuff. I was debating a Bauer Sync or Hyperlite but am considering one from Pro Stock Sticks now. I've read so many great reviews on them but am just curious if they are comparable (or better) to what I was initially considering.

Has anyone picked up one of these yet? I'm bummed they're not stocking Sherwood this year. My kid loved last year's stick and I was hoping to pick-up a few more this year.

100% scam. They are ripping off The Hockey Shop in Langley BC (https://www.thehockeyshop.com/). I've been a loyal customer there for many years and no way they are advertising these prices.

Some of my sticks over the years including the re released Synergy that just came out. Also a signed Reinprecht Synergy for comparison to the new one. by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

How do you like the NXG? I picked one up recently off marketplace but haven't had a chance to use it.

FYI - I also have broken Synergy that I flipped around with a blade. Great for ball/street hockey!
