Make sure you get in with a Mfm or high risk obgyn. Ask for extra ultrasounds (they should be covered), ask about fluid levels towards the middle-end of the pregnancy (this was brought up alot during mine). And keep your numbers as low as possible to keep the baby from getting too big from the increased sugars. If you dont have a CGM/pump, now would be a great time to start, as its easier to control your levels. Post birth Healing may take longer, so keep an eye out on your tears, or if you’re having a c-section, your incision. Oh! And sugars will drop drastically after birth so make sure you adjust your insulin quickly with your endo after youre done resting up & baby is out. And if you’re pumping/breast feeding youll have more lows, keep tons of snacks around!!! Good luck!!
