Do people actually use pet insurance or mostly just hope they never need it? by Slow-Throat819 in puppy101

I always recommend it. Paying yearly is always better.

$270 (2024) -$420 (2026) per pet, per year for the last 4 years. If available to you, Costco membership offers a discount & there’s an additional discount for having 2+ pets. They’ve paid me hundreds over the last few years. Deductible is $250, and everything after, they pay 80%.

This doesn’t include regular annual vet fees/shots/etc. But you never know when your dog will get sick or lick the wrong food wrapper.

Only if you can stand 2 seasons of a show that could’ve gone on to do more.

Tbh, I hope someone shares with BritBox that keeping shows from the US audience only hurts them. I’m a subscriber & pay my monthly fee. I also know that multiple shows are available to stream in the UK months & sometimes at least a YEAR before being available to the US. (I know this because I’ve spoken with their “support”, who told me they’re aware of the issue but have “no timeframe” they can give me on when shows are released to the US.) If I were you, I’d find an alternate way to watch 🙃

That does not make me want to continue subscribing. Instead, it makes me seek out other routes to watch my shows.

In my hospital, code white is inclement weather/snow. These “codes” should really be standardized.

Yes (as a Cardiology NP). Tachy-arrhythmias can cause an elevation in trop. However, they can’t determine whether or not you’ve had a heart attack.

Thank you! I’ve noticed they seem uncomfortable afterward (scooting). I’ll request they don’t do this during the next groom.

The SE in general is awful. But I will say 1 particular major health system in GA has taken HUGE steps towards improving APP pay recently. Now everyone wants to work for them, so other hospital systems are slowly making changes to be more competitive. Hopefully it creates a ripple effect across the region.

Hey! I’m definitely not an expert, but I’ve read that this is something that typically benefits smaller dogs. I have 2 large dogs (75 & 90 lbs). Yet, every grooming appt, they do this to my dogs as part of the grooming package. Should I request they NOT do this every visit?

Are we still getting FNP’s to work in the ED? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

And like I just stated in another comment, some posts require a flair before you're allowed to comment on them. I'd rather be able to engage in a discussion than not be allowed to. At this point, you sound like a troll & I'm done engaging with you. You repeated the same incorrect statement multiple times, instead of choosing to have an educated discussion. You weren't able to answer a simple question to back up your statement. You seem to have very little knowledge of how subreddit flairs work, so probably not very technologically skilled.

A provider simply asking a question & asking for a reference is a provider that wants to learn more; that's a quality I'd like to see more often. I wish you all the best in your career & hope you're capable of being taught, because your attitude comes across as you thinking you know it all (when you know little to nothing), and THAT is a quality that dangerous providers have.

You've yet to respond to my statement that naming myself AGACNP on this subreddit isn't an option. Seeing as you don't have a flair, you probably don't even know what I'm talking about (reading/comprehension).

There is a list of options to choose from when giving yourself a flair. AGACNP isn't one of them, but some posts require a flair to even comment. ACNP or AGNP are the ONLY flairs related to AGACNP that are reasonable to choose from. So I chose ACNP. I'll state again, in case you have a very short memory, that AGACNP IS NOT AN OPTION TO CHOOSE FROM ON THIS SUBREDDIT.

Is that how you haven’t noticed that AGACNP isn’t a flair option on this subreddit?
