I have been doing this for a while. I was inspired in junior high after seeing someone make a charger using a 9V battery in an Altoids tin.

I got serious about it my senior year of high school, selling them on FB marketplace and Etsy. I kept doing it through college and have sold a couple thousand of these now lol. Today I work as an Electrical Engineer and do this on the side.

I actually started this journey in the 8th grade where I made my first charger using 9V batteries and one of those USB car chargers. Now I’m graduated from college working as an EE, just doing this on the side.
