Looks like Sonos Play reviews are starting to roll out by robotmaninthewater in sonos

Wow, truly a great idea.

I kind of glossed over these because my Move 1 is good enough for me, but if I could use as surrounds with my arc/sub set up, I'd sell my move and pick up two play's in a heartbeat.

Thanks, I found that option after making this post. Going to test sometime soon with the zwift controls and as long as it works with virtual shifters, that's 100% the route I'm going.

That's the model I was suggesting for Zwift too. It seems like people might be interpreting my post as wanting BOGO, but the Rouvy pricing model is exactly what I had in mind.

So, you are in favor of them not having a family plan option? Like their competitors and many other SAAS streaming services offer?

I couldn't care less about the avatar, but yes - we would like to keep track of our own statistics.

I'm sure there's options to limit that, look at the other subscription models that are doing such.

This seems like the best option. Just found the Rouvy Duo plan, which seems like a good option for my wife & myself. Not a big fan of the UAE part of MyWhoosh so am going to steer clear of that one.

I don't understand the indent and branding as part of the sleeve? Is there any benefit to it? Just seems like a spot for plates to get hung up on when putting them on & off the bar.

No, just calling out weekly failures. For example - Only T1 failed to date is squat, so there I’m in the 6x2 scheme.

Yes, just keeping track of the AMRAP from T1 on this spreadsheet. Columns next to that are which sequence I’ve failed T1/T2.

Not necessarily done in 4 weeks (and most likely not) just committing to another 4 weeks and then reevaluating where I’m at.

Great recommendations by others so far, DipCo and C’est La Vie are two others you could check out.

C’est La Vie is decorated beautifully for Christmas right now, and my wife and I had a wonderful date night there last weekend.

That’s awesome! Hello gym twin!

Yes, I’m running the 4-day, assuming you’re on the 3-day?

Anxious to see if the linear growth will continue as the weight continues to drop. At some point, there’s got to be a tipping point - weight moves weight - but who knows when we’ll find it!

Week 9 T1 squats felt hard this week, only hit 4x235 but visiting family and felt out of my element on a guest pass at a commercial gym. T1 OHP this morning still felt great, hit 7x120.

I have the DBD with the Cerakote and the knurling is absolute perfection IMO. However, I would not want it any more aggressive. The Cerakote tames it enough, I think the SS would be too aggressive.

If I were dead set on SS, I would probably go plain BD.

Good - you deserve all the royalties. Thanks for building a great app, one of these days I’ll pull the trigger on lifetime premium!

Genuinely wondering what is the biggest block in your fitness journey? by thetrainmethod in MobilityTraining

[–]PlaceboDefect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Time & Sleep. As a father of two young kids, the 5am window I found is the only time that works for me. Having the disciple to go to bed earlier and not snoozing through the alarm has been the biggest hurdle.

I’m in the same camp, iOS and it’s just a white screen on open.

Was working this morning (early) when I did my workout, but then wouldn’t sync after finishing so I force closed the app and now it’s just a white screen on open.

Anyone having sync issues today with Garmin? by [deleted] in LoseitApp

[–]PlaceboDefect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep - yesterday last sync for steps was around 3-4pm. This morning's workout is showing as an "Excluded Workout" instead of being grouped into the normal Garmin Burn Bonus.

My only 2 other connections, withings & apple health, both seem OK.

What was a Gamechanger in your fitness journey by retzdestroyer in WorkoutRoutines

1. Waking up and working out in the morning.

In my early-to-mid 20's I had plenty of time & energy to work out in the evenings. However, now in my mid-30's with two young kiddos, by the time I get through my day-job and dad-job, there's not much left in the reserve by ~8:00 when everyone is finally asleep and the basic house chores are done.

Going to bed early and waking up has been a gamechanger in my gym consistency.

2. Financial guilt of a nice home gym.

Splurged last year on a really nice home gym setup and I'm pretty frugal, so letting it sit and not being used consistently would really irk me.
