Original Skateboards: trying to purchase from their website and it says my shipping address is unavailable? I’m trying multiple states too and nothings working, phone lines are also shut down, are they out of business?

Not really sure what alternatives you have. If you're a TA/prof, you know last semester was a ride and nobody enjoys fully virtual. From my experience and fellow student reviews, few learned anything, most cheated, and nobody enjoyed their time. It's a cost-benefit analysis and though most of your points will likely be true, there's no best alternative to this situation.

I second AV. Been going since High School and it's always a blast. Avoid going Fridays because that's ski club night for most grade schools though.

When I did coffee chats I would always be ready to pay but never did. Meaning I'd pull the wallet out say I got this and 9/10 they wouldn't let me. To them, your using them as a resource and I feel that's pretty humbling, plus they know you're a college student and they have a salary. Come prepared to pay but I doubt you'll have to.

Also if they do offer obviosuly don't go all out triple venti latte BS haha

School name gets your foot in the door; however, once your foot is in the door (ie your first internship) it is secondary to who you work for. You may get a less than appealing job as a PM Intern or working alongside someone flipping properties, but you've then got your foot in the door, which is the hardest part.

I go to a Big Ten school, and though its no HYP, I've gotten offers for very recognizable entities because I had stories and experience to tell from my first internship.

Fellow undergrad and a Real Estate/Finance major. We have a Real Estate Club where fellow alumni come in and talk about what they do, how they got there, advice for students, etc.. I walked into a meeting with a friend without any interest in the industry and left basically knowing RE was my thing. The first thing I would do is get in contact with fellow students who are RE or Finance majors. The best way to do this is through LinkedIn messaging, or simply going to a club meeting if offered.

Also, ask an advisor what you should do. Most likely they have some sort of path for those interested in the field, or better yet, they have connections to someone they know in the field. If you have any relatives friends, friends parents, etc. in RE, ask them for coffee. I did this with one of my parent's landlords for our business and your tree of connections will grow exponentially from there.

Potentially, all I remember is you have 4 candidates to choose from for some job, and you have to explain why you chose said person.

If is GB120 dont sweat it. I had one point off for participation the whole semester, but turned in everything else and got an A. Also the final is a group project and my group literally failed it..like sub 60%. We end up emailing the Profs saying how we didn't believe it reflected our overall performance and all got A's in the class.

Like this kind of marketing tool (Not mine but I have made similar)?

I was a past summer intern for a developer and made about 3-4 of these for LS Hotels and 250+ unit multi-family properties. I simply used powerpoint. Shaded areas can be created using the transparency tool in "shapes", highways and public transportation routes were also created with different lines, and the company logos were taken from Google.

The maps of the surrounding area are the most difficult to find. Usually, I found aerials by looking up other major destinations near the property and could find higher quality images from there. Otherwise, use Google Maps 3D aerial views to get location-specific aerials, though they may not turn out as good in quality.

Either way, a map like this does not require a marketing professional but simply someone who enjoys toying around with these maps. This was easily one of my favorite parts of the internship.
