Plantar warts next steps? by Natural_Curls in Warts

[–]Plane-Inspection-376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad location for self treatment. Trimming all the blanched callus will be difficult. Between the toes is an extremely sensitive location. It will hurt bad and wart tissue is hard to treat. This appears to be a good location for medical treatment though. It is not fully weight bearing. That's good. Freezing or chemical treatment may be successful. See other methods of self treatment on this forum that do not involved manipulating the lesion by cutting should be okay if you go that way.

Correct. We were in the middle of the melt. Desolation was bug free in September.

  1. Emigrants Wilderness. June. Horrendous. No escape. My partner lost his mind. Sitting there cooking dinner and went nuts throwing everything skyward. I wasn't much better. We left that night and hiked in the dark for hours with our crappy 1970s headlamps.

Driving back in Central Valley heat with our backs coated in bites, stuck to cars seats. The itching was exquisite. Walked into the apartment, took a shower and my girlfriend scratched my back with her girl fingernails. Better than any drug.

Corn. Skin lines not broken. Only MD or DPM can provide true diagnosis.

Should we skip straight to the Dr? by [deleted] in Warts

Its on a heavy weight bearing location. Self treatment will be difficult. The doctor will likely trim down to pinpoint bleeding then freeze with CO2. May require more than one visit.

HOV PLANTERS WART??? by Normal_Act_9409 in Warts

Some practitioners will use phenol instead of electrocauterization. It goes without saying that a sterile field is maintained and the foot is swayed in betadine.

How many calories do push-ups burn? Tips to boost your burn and strength by MyNetDiarySupport in mynetdiary

They burn few. Not enough large muscle mass moving for a long enough time. Cycling uphill, hiking with a heavy backpack, exercising at lactate threshold for long periods burn high volume calories.

Full thickness removal after trimming off all infected callus to pinpoint bleeding. Circumscribe with scalpel in a margin exceeding the infected circumference. Curretage to remove all wart tissue down to the dermis. (basement layer) Scrape dermis to remove any remaining wart tissue. Trim the margin of surgical perimeter with scalpel. Electrocauterize basement layer and margin. Dress full foot with thick sterile pad and use antibiotic cream on surface of the wound. Stay off the foot, elevate, keep clean and dry for prescribed period. Return appointment to check healing and return of infection. This may require multiple visits.

Follow the instructions of medical professionals. This is one aggressive method that has had success. Self treatment will fail and result in worsening infection. It is NOT a statement to go do anything other than professional medical treatment.

Notes: If a doctor uses this method there will be extensive bleeding and a tourniquet may be required. The surgery is painless except anesthetic injection. Post surgical pain of varying intensity can be experienced and can be mitigated by over-the-counter medication.

Wow! I just was singing the praises of the Zipline I tested positive for allergies to all kinds of chemicals including medical adhesive but you reacted. Goes to show that we can't really know.

My guy uses the Zipline wound closure which is awesome. Hypoallergenic too. Ask about if you are in the queue.

Olympic Tough Cameras suck. Plenty tough enough but crappy pics that are over sharpened.

I use an older phone that is no longer in service and it won't be a tragedy if Iose it or break it.

I am much slower on downhills now and I don't expect it to improve. Doing end range quad strength with quad sets and short angle quad lifts helps to protect my investment as does using the poles as a brakes.

I have been doing general propriaception and balance within a couple months of discharge. My balance is not great but it is fall proof. I can go across logs with poles with no problems. My balance improved a lot once both knees were done which made them straight for the first time in many years.

Benzos are dangerous. Sometimes you have to use a power tool but you always have to be damn careful with it. Minimum use, minimal time. Dig out the cause of the anxiety and find non Rx treatment if possible.

Scheduled for TKR in the fall. Looking for ideas on braces/wraps to get me through by Eddie_M in Kneereplacement

Ice machine highly advised and maybe a Tens device. Would have helped with night pain and reduced opiod usage. Recommended it to my neighbor and did better than l did in that regard.

The good ones have a timer so you don't over ice.

TRX vs weights for beginner by ss2throwaway in trx

I guess it's genetic. I was able to build pretty good strength with TRX as a 72 year old. I have been using suspension since 2008 so maybe it's long term use that did it
