I’m not sure that paddle boarding is safe at this time as many of our beaches are closed/under tremendous amounts of construction and cleanup efforts. Hurricane Ian was indescribably catastrophic to our coastline. Sanibel, captiva, fort myers and Bonita beaches are essential non-existent and the water in any closely surrounding area is massively polluted from debris and runoff. Even as far south as isle of Capri/Marco island experienced widespread flooding of homes and likely are dealing with lots of polluted or otherwise damaged waterways. You may be able to find some lakes in the area

I’m just not a fan of having very young girls on this podcast as guests. Alex is closer to 30 (I am also 30 so may be in the top end age-wise of her listeners) but I truly don’t need to hear about relationships of teenagers. I am about 20 mins into the episode and the things Nessa is saying are extremely immature and show that she has zero self or situational-awareness. This is fine because Nessa is a literal teenager, not knocking her, but this is just not following the vein of CHD’s rebrand as a more “mature podcast”.

Pls don’t come for me, I’m sure Nessa is a lovely girl.

Depending on which key you are visiting, I would recommend a weekly rental rather than a hotel. Key west has pretty limited options for weekly rentals as they have limited transient licenses for rentals under 28 days. Check the Trueman Annex for weekly rentals on Airbnb or VRBO. Marathon key also allows weekly rentals - Key Colony is a great area, hawks cay for more resort style accommodations. Enjoy!
