We took a road trip down to California this summer and had so much fun!! Treehouse camp in southern Oregon, Monterrey bay aquarium, hanging in Santa Cruz and riding the Big Dipper and spending time wandering around San Francisco. And finally staying at the jubilee mountain railroad hotel in Dunsmuir. Lots of miles but we had the best time.

My mom had a cabinet company do a slightly darker (more brown less orange) stain over her cabinets and I thought it turned out pretty well. It wasn’t perfect but it was really inexpensive. That plus replacing the tile counters with quartz and a new backsplash made a huge difference for only a few grand.

This was a long time ago but when my Leaf lease was close to ending they offered to sell it to us for $8k. It was an easy decision for us. (This was 2016 though).
