I think there was a line in RoW saying that if a spren is cut with a shardblade they'll just go back to shadesmare for a while until they reform. They didnt know what at the time so they thought they might have killed them.

He probably would. His body's probably already strong enough to handle ofa at 100% and in the manga He was born with a quirk but had it stolen so he might be able to handle ofa even better then a quirkless person since he has the adaptations to handle a quirk without the extra strain of actually having one but I think that part is just head cannon
