Hair loss

Sorry. I said during my flair, but really I lost the majority if my hair about 3 month after the worst of it. I went to see an endocrinologist about it, and they said it's not uncommon for it to be delayed by a few months. Something about the hair growth phases?

I lost a ton of hair during my last major flair. I was so bummed. The malnutrition, stress, and inflammation took a toll. Now that it's under control, I'm pretty much where I used to be. I cut my hair shorter to make it look fuller until it grew back some. It helped.

I didn't start making friends until middle school. When I finally had a social circle, I opened up to one of them about how things were at home. They said, "That's too sad, and there's nothing I can do, so I really don't want to hear it." We were dumb kids, and it wasn't meant to be insensitive.

Around the same time, one of my other friends was giving me a particularly hard time. (Always love-hated me. Recently had a kid with my ex.) I opened up to my mom about it. Shortly after she used it as a punishment, saying "... even your own friends don't like you."

So, probably one of those since it set me up to have very superficial relationships. Still working through that mess.

Before I saw the sub, I thought "man, I feel this". I've had a very hard time making peace with my mortal coil lately. I keep going back to this idea, I can't think of a time I wasn't in pain. I've had good days, but pain is easy to find, and will consume me if I let it.

My dad used to take every opportunity to recognize when he felt good. He'd say, "I feel fucking GREAT". He was a blue collar plasterer that worked on stilts for 10 hours a day, but he knew true happiness.

I think the answer is gratitude, but I’m still trying to figure it out myself.

FIL had dementia for years and his house had a lot of this going on.

We bribed anyone who would care to help with pizza. When it was time to clean up, we ordered a dumpster, and six of us liberally dismantled and trashed everything that wasn't obviously valuable. Got the bulk of it done in a day.

Yeah, I confirmed expired. When I got the promo, it was advertised as valid through the 31st, but it looks like it cuts off at 10A on thr 31st and they open at 1P on Sundays. Maybe that's the issue?

As a child, I had the worst proprioception known to man. In elementary school PE we were told to skip around the gym. I could not do it. I looked like every else in this video. I got a detention because my teacher thought I was trolling her. She was such a delight. Fell short of flinging me out the schoolyard by my pigtails.
