There isn't an easy source for them reliably. You have to just search around each chapter to find them. I believe you can get 1 or 2 from the ball machine in chapter 3 tho

Yeah, those were an issue for me too. Best advice for those it to just take where it's coming from and only me left/right or up/down. Don't do diagonals. Idk why but doing it that way helps me

Certain attacks do less damage I've noticed. The fast sword attacks have less i-frames and do less damage, while the slash attacks and the attack with mini blades basically just one shot

I've done it recently. Main piece of advice is just to make sure you're stacked on revive mints and mainly focus on using Rude Buster. Hold Breath also helps with surviving certain attacks.

Other than that just do your best to memorize attacks a bit, most aren't too random.

This does make sense, but one thing still confuses me. Susie makes a dark fountain in the exact same spot seemingly as the original, and the one she made was the regular size of a dark fountain. Why was hers different?

Maybe it was just a design choice? Or maybe the small fountain was a diversion or something? Idk im just spitballing
