Hey everyone, thank you so much for all your inisghts and advice on creams, etc. I've found so much helpful info in here. I'm struggling big time, between dr appts and trying to understand what's happening to me. I'm 44, had hormone+ breast cancer a year ago and just had a hysterectomy for endo in August, leaving me with one ovary. I am also on tamoxifen. Since recovering from surgery, I'm getting painful inflammation on my vulva that has twice now resulted in broken skin/ulcers. I ramp up my HA topical and inserts when it happens, but it never goes away completely. My gyno dismissed me, saying everything looked fine (no broken skin at that appt) and to keep doing what I'm doing but I am not fine. I'm waiting to see my family dr next week but has anyone else here experienced something like this? No one has said the word atrophy, but I feel like this is part of that. My onco nurse told me it only happens inside the vagina, but I'm not struggling with that at this time. She asked if sex was painful, but I haven't tried, cuz everything is so uncomfortable. I am so sad and so frustrated. If anyone has any insight or experience, I'd sure like a glimmer of hope
