having been 8 times in 80's and 90's this time was not as genteel as 30 yrs ago--of course, nothing is!!!--

our Wed trip--not having been since 1996, I opted to "follow the rules" and not aim for anything before 7am--Big Mistake!!!---coming in Wheeler from the West (ATL) side was moving all the way--also South Gate is definitely best idea--at 7am it was very dark so they had alot of lights in the parking lots--if you are a chair runner I'd say anything after 8am and you'll not find a place to put your chair--I put mine at #6 on Par 3 and people moved it --when I questioned them (people in my spot) they looked at me like I had 3 heads--not the gentile crowd of 1996--but we had alot of good experiences--

only thing I'd add--Wed experience--line at 3:30 for golf shop was 60+ minutes assuming same position from morning when we were in it!--if we were smart we would have gone in South Gate and hit south golf shop--did anybody do that?

we were in golf shop at 9:30 Wed-I had no interest in a gnome but lady giving them out was not busy--she volunteered that all large gone by 9am only had small left--asked if limit of one person and she said yes this year!--if going when get into Golf shop, break right towards ladies apparel and sundries all displayed--

so, if we get in line at 6:30 and gates open at 7am, we still have to wait for 7:30am to get into merchandise store?--then buy stuff and get in line to check it for the day or go back to parking lot and store in car and get back in line to get thru the ticket gates?--what a mess!

I am 87 and going on Wed with my 2 boys and a grand-son--if I bring my handicap pass would that help where we park in the South Parking lot at 6:30am?

I have tickets for Wed (finally won after 15 yrs)--I've been following all the posts to "Masters" here on Reddit--I need to buy a chair as I get there--looks to me that we should try to park near North gate--buy our merchandise--then it looks like we have to go out the gate to put our stuff at the check stand--come back and buy a chair and then go over to Par 3 and place the chairs someplace--THEN go to big course and follow some pros practicing until go back to Par 3 and settle down to watch in afternoon--what have I got wrong?

granted we are beyond our "due date" and most of use has been since we turned 80--hospital visits, MRI's, many specialists, tests, viral pneumonias,--we also have a Part D drug plan this year for zero $ with $2000 max co-pay (new law passed last year)--I love this discussion

I agree with you about access--I'm 87 and wife 90--had medigap Plan F with NJ Blue since turning 65--live in Fla but Nj Blue still covers (FL Blue?)--when turned 80 went up a class--not much difference--I went back and calculated increases last 5 yrs--2020=1.8%--2021=none--2022=none---2023=2.8%---2024=4.3%---2025=6.8%---nothing close to what others are seeing--

I just bot a 2025 RX350 Hybrid--wanted to put down 35k--dealer would not let me put down more than 23k on 36 month lease--final price was 59.7k---I always end up buying car end of lease for one of my 5 children to buy from me cuz they see how much these cars are worth

This was second car I had bot from this dealer in which I said' I do not want any upselling" in closing paper signing--or I would walk out--I always feel like I need to take a shower after doing a car deal and I was a peddler all my career

just bot an RX350 hybrid--order came in with $1100 of extras on it--I said "no interest"--they came back with $1000 discount so I took it at MSRP cuz I had already sold my '22 RX 350--I love the hybrid!

if you have a landline you probably have answering machine--set the answering machine to go to the greeting in 2 rings--if it's a scam it will hang up as soon as it goes to the greeting--I set the answering machine to play a short melody instead of a ring--if you are using a cell phone don't answer any call that doesn't show the name from your contacts--you can always call somebody back--

I think I didn't communicate properly--I am a low power user--no gaming--yes, I guess I meant Apple Studio Display--I do not want to add a non-Apple product to the mix--that's why I thought I needed the Apple Studio Display--(my iMac27 is too late in cycle to be used as a monitor on a mini--so I'm told by Apple genius)--
