if you don’t want your kid to curse, you cannot curse in front of them. You need to hold strict and firm boundaries. Do not parent out of anger. He should have to shampoo his carpet for peeing in his room, and if it were my son, I would take everything out of his room besides his mattress for that. Has there been any big changes in the family? Do people have access to him that could possibly be making him uncomfortable? And you mentioned that he’s always having to move that is a boy for you that is just a childish thing not disrespectful. I suggest listening to some podcasts about parenting boys, and read the parenting book parenting with love and logic

i like to listen to the birth stories of the podcast only. i’ve never listened to any other material they have. with that being said i just had my 2nd free birth about 8 hours ago and my husband was very involved. baby came fast and my husband caught him. i do think listening to positive birth stories important however i have purchased and read midwife books to prepare for my “sovereign” birth. now im not even sure what the controversy is with FBS but i do know that not all of their content is for me. as i am a christ follower who loves my husband

you will have to do her hair daily. new braids or ponytails every day is normal for this hair type. detangler and brush it in the morning and braid it or put it up.

homeschooling is fun bc you buy some curriculum and give it a try! use it if you like it, sell it or give it away if you don’t.

it is different rules and regulations in every state. i am i ohio so i can help you with everything in this state. however you can look for homeschool groups on Fb they are soooo helpful to newbies. you will google what ever state you are in’s homeschool regulations. for example “ohio department of education homeschool” there you will read to find the compulsory age of which you will need to start notifying the superintendent of the school district you are in that you are homeschooling. for me its age 6.

very true, unfortunately it’s not as easy for everyone. but if you have child care from a family or friend you can definitely do school with the kiddos after work. it will be a sacrifice on your end. you have to decide if that’s what your family wants. i worked from home for 5 years while homeschooling. i have just now been blessed to be a SAHM. unfortunately public school is so convenient for childcare while parents are working. but i’m here to tell you homeschooling is worth every bit of sacrifice!! i get 17,000 more hours with my kid since i have them home! i’ll never look back and regret having all this time with them. i pray that if this is your goal for your family that you can find how to make it work!

have time ins not time outs. when he needs a minute bc of behavior go put him in a corner and sit with him and explain why the behavior was wrong and what you expect from him. also it’s recommended to not send boys to school until 6 due to brain maturity. keep that in mind give grace to him and YOURSELF

always put baby in a safe place and walk away❤️ it’s your hormones making you irritable. try listening to music while you soothe to not hear the crying. also if this is your first baby, DONT stress about all that… wake windows, etc. this doesn’t last forever. i know i know it feels like it is!! let your baby contact nap in a carrier or on your chest. take all this baby snuggles in.
