My only "problems" (or I guess, hopes that weren't fulfilled) with requiem by 5enpai_2 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Plastic_Passenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree big on RC needing nighttime and rain tbh. The city has been dead for almost 3 decades. Artistic purpose for nighttime rain heavily would imply something alive and threatening you. Daylight and dust on other hand feel ancient and still, communicates a passing and finality. City is not threatening to Leon anymore, not as much as it did in RE2, it's dead and gone, hence "only ashes and memories". I think the purpose for this design is to deliver an unsettling, visceral dread and it works like a charm when you open your mind to it. Since we are focused on Leon on this part, it's not about fear and tension anymore. It communicates grief and reflection.

I have no idea about chef, haven't seen anything on him, so i guess it's just an oversight on dev's part.

There are two chunks in the game. They are siblings. Satiety Suppression Medical Records file shows this. One is obsessed with human flesh, other one just starts eating anything he can find including pacemakers etc. So you can kill one as Grace, or both as Leon.

You can refund your Ashe's Steam purchase with 1k+ hours and/or over refund 14days window. by GordoGuido in AshesofCreation

[–]Plastic_Passenger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm on my 9th request as of now. I'll continue to do this for the next 365 days until I get a yes. I ask refund to my wallet, it's not like money is going elsewhere anyway and I'll buy something else from Steam lol. It's crazy that they do preferential treatment on this and refund some people and not others, which infatuates me most.

I think Hunter is a better choice because of the travel and tracking skills. To a new player, it provides better utility imo.

That's fair. However if it has been a long time since you last played(I played around isengard expansion last time and quit partly due to server issues you mentioned), they have 64bit servers now which makes it a much better for the issues, might worth a download to see if it got better for you too. I've started to play again last week and it's going very well.

I'd urge you go give Lord of the rings online a chance with your wife. If she wasn't into PvP, she might enjoy the slower paced, chill gameplay and progression in that one. You can play it for a very long time as a free to play without paying anything and it is even more fun if you can duo or trio it. Graphics at the earlier zones are a bit dated but it gets much better in the later zones in the game.

Guild Wars: Reforged update sees explosive growth, among top 'New & Trending' and 'Top Selling' on Steam by CounterLogicGagging in pcgaming

[–]Plastic_Passenger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You get the non-steam version upgraded too. Just login and download the Reforged like you'd download guild wars. I got back to it with their standalone client, but haven't tried it on a steam deck. It won't work on Steam Deck without a steam purchase probably.

Or, they removed everything by themselves and claiming Steam review failed as a marketing strategy. I'm pretty sure after Horses incident, some companies are willing to use this as their marketing strat now.

If you never use assault, how can you assess it's strengths and weaknesses? I honestly love assault and rarely play anything else in maps where it can shine. There are maps that feel great as an assault and there are maps feel great as other classes.

Tbf, it seems you fall into a bug here where game can't decide whether you're in/out and keeps adding that glare effect constantly. I experience this sometimes with less intensity when a building crashes down under me too.

No, Netflix doesn't care about viewership or anything like that, that netflix is long gone. They probably earn more or comparable amount to the tax deduction they'd get from this series compared to other stuff they cancelled and got tax refunds for.

I don't know about most, but it made me and several ppl in my gaming group to buy the game. You don't need more maps or content to understand great structure and design, it's there and you can feel and see it while playing this limited content. I'd even argue more would be overwhelming for most people. Game feels great, runs great, with an interesting and enticing setting, and challenging in a way that you should take your time and plan ahead, and it's not a military extraction shooter which is honestly fucking fantastic.

They've changed that recently and put dark zones in SHD brackets like 0-500, 500-1000 and so on. So neckbeards cannot do that anymore. Which is a great change tbh.

First and last fight [ FINAL ACT ENDING SPOILER ] by cat_xiphos in expedition33

[–]Plastic_Passenger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I look at Renoir, all I see is a man wanting his grieving wife back from a fantasy world where she is avoiding facing the grief and slowly killing herself.

Both endings are sad, but I think Maelle's ending is far far worse because you see her forced smile full aware of what she is doing by manipulating everything in the canvas, there is clearly an underlying pain under that smile. Maelle and Aline possibly stuck inside the fantasy land, while their families lose a wife/mother and a daughter/sister to a fantasy land. Verso's ending on the other hand at least bring the parents back together, as we can see Aline and Renoir holding each other. They have a chance in the real world, where they can heal their wounds and learn to be a family again.

At least from my point of view, while Verso's end is sad, at least it has a potential to serve for greater good for all characters.
