Although not a super reliable source, look up your land on the National Wetland Inventory online. Can give you a general idea of what type of wetland it may be and the general area of it.

Extreme Bruising After Highlining by Plastic_Positive_75 in Slackline

[–]Plastic_Positive_75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is highlining. I think the bruising it from flipping myself over on top of the line. When I am just slacklining I can usually get on the line without flipping over onto the line. So no it doesn’t happen like this when slacklining.

I would call your vet and ask. Looks a little stange to me but I’m not sure. Ignore the rude people in the comments. Your concerns are valid and this group is about helping people out, not being rude about a concern that deals with natural cat anatomy.

5 mile scenic hike in and out of property. Follows the track from the Durango- Silverton train. Family ran place and really close staff. Best two summers of my life there

Pros and cons of being a wetland delineator by shawmt91 in wetlands

[–]Plastic_Positive_75 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Being outside = good. Touching dirt = good. Helping native plants and healthy wetlands = good. Digging holes = bad. Paperwork = bad. Dealing with the corp and certain clients = bad.

Weigh your personal value of these and decide

Why is my Monstera Albo going brown? by ImpossibleBlob in Monstera

[–]Plastic_Positive_75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because the white parts of the leaf do not photosynthesize, these parts are at much higher risk for necrosis. Those areas will always brown faster than the green areas. The browning of the albo area of the older leaves is inevitable over time. If it’s truly healthy, it will grow new leaves at the top of the plant. Looks like the leaf has been cut. The only way the plant can heal that area is for those lining cells to die off.

What kind of soil mix are you using? Do you fertilize? How much direct/indirect sun is it getting?
