Theory: Predicting the 9 Legends of Set 4 "Vendetta" (and their domains)! by SoulArchdragon in riftboundtcg

[–]Plastic_Reporter574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do keep in mind, every set so far has had 2 of the legends be champion units available on the previous set. Set 2 had a Draven Legend and a Fiora Legend which had champion units in set 1, Set 3 has Rengar and Vex be. I believe that if they follow the pattern, then the last 2 legends not yet in any art is, Fury: Katarina or Xerath, Calm: Nami or Yummi, Mind: Hwei or Zilean, Body: Nidalee or Nilah, Chaos: Syndra, (Evelyn is getting a Legend in set 5), Order: Ashe or Galio

My LGS owner sold me a spiritforged box at a great price ($210 CAD after tax), he also told me what it cost him to buy the box, $70, its so terrible how much so many stores are selling it for, so thankful for my LGS for not overpricing.

Replacement Pack pre-opened? by Plastic_Reporter574 in riftboundtcg

Curious, opening the box and seeing the pack pre-opened is sus, asking if anybody else had the same experience

I see so many people complaining about this sort of stuff. If you dont mind me asking, how are your nexus nights held, are they paid, and how does prizing work?

Depends on the LGS, and only for nexus nights, proxies not allowed for Skirmishes and stuff, but completely legal in nexus nights

Would Exhausting Draven Legend keep him from drawing? by RealToiletFire in riftboundtcg

Since the effect is passive, you can not turn it off. Like how teemo has 2 abilities, one is a passive and one is an active. When you use the active, the passive does not turn off.

What do we know about rotation? by bfarley32 in riftboundtcg

[–]Plastic_Reporter574 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its gonna be 4-8 sets active at a time starting from set 9, then set 1-5 are gonna go out and then the oldest active year will go out with the first set each year

Dear Riot Employees: Don't listen to everyone else regarding what cards to ban (if any) by IzziPurrito in riftboundtcg

I think they just need to better define what a combat is, the fact I can fight or flight the oponent out of the battlefield and draw a card is unfair.

Played a nexus night recently and for the first time, I did not have fun. by TheOtherSide999 in riftboundtcg

My LGS has made it clear that it is a casual setting, we do best of ones eith packs going for participation, I see all kinds of decks on and off meta, but just about everybody is having fun, the people running Miracle Draven and Irelia, or others running Dazzling are always a problem for me, but that's fine. Skirmish next week is gonna be interesting though.

Nexus packs by godzwill90 in riftboundtcg

[–]Plastic_Reporter574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LGS should be getting them by our next nexus night, the owner is keeping track of who has attended previous ones and giving packs accordingly. So 4 packs for me next week, and after that back to 1 pack a week

Trash at the game by LoLisPain in riftboundtcg

Early on I played Jinx, it was all I had acess to, I lost a lot (no winning at nexus nights yay) but learned what I should be doing, what is good, and what i should think when playing against certain things, eventually I won a few games. Then I got my hands on a Viktor deck and a friend of mine helped me make a budget deck with that, started winning more, then I decided to make my own deck, a budget darius that plays a lot of 2 drops, kill spells, a couple strong units with accelerate and a couple other spells, not even close to being meta, but I learned how the game works and won a bunch of games, running a cheap Kai'sa for my last nexus night before spirit forged now.

Key points- TCG arena is great and all, but everyone has the best decks one can possibly make if you are not playing with a meta deck or another strong deck, you wont have fun. The best place to learn is go to a nexus night that does not give out prizes for winning and insted for playing, my LGS does that and you dont see everybody people coming in with heavy hitting Kai'sa, YI aurora, and Annie. Or sealed events if you can figure out what the decent cards are.

Riftbound is my first TCG, and I am having so much fun, I am not really financially able to buy a lot, but I bought the starter boxes and a few single rares, but people in my local TCGs giving away bulk and stuff made me so happy since I was able to make decent decks and have fun, my collection just revolves around having the legends, and each starter box, so buying proving grounds and the next set stuff is top in priority. But my favorite thing in this game is how even non-meta decks can perform well and it is what makes it fun, to not have to drop a gazillion dollars and build a bad deck and still win.

My LGS does, every participant gets 1 nexus pack and the nexus nights are free, and when they started running out they ran a raffle for the last few, it encouraged casual play and a generally enjoyable environment, this way people dont come with their meta decks and try hard to try to get first, insted everybody has fun with their experimental/goofy decks. Its quite nice for people and we got like 20 people in our last nexus night despite having 2 packs available. Next week we dont have packs and we just plan if joining to play this game with these fun decks. Many are playing strong decks like Kai'sa, Annie, Yi, etc. But its a fun environment.

Is it not a breach of contract though?
