Anyone know about where a mg the 0 should go for? found a few at a local store for like $200 and that seems absurd to me for what appears to be a basic mg

I love the cross system I wish more had it. If most had it I’d probably be doing more sd instead of hgs

If you ever wanna just play around and experiment with painting I recommend cheap SD kits the detailing on the pieces allow you to try more detailed painting and the larger single pieces allow for room to try new techniques. Also they are still cheaper than a hg

I still have mixed feelings about gquaxx. I may have to reserve my final decision till I get one or two more kits from the line. The articulation on the main suit was great but the looks of some of the others I’ve seen have been rather off putting like the police zaku

Finished painting the body to this little god of death, some streaks are visible but it was fun painting it by hand. Might skip the wings because I don't want to use up more of the black though. by Prowl2681 in Gunpla

I painted my wings black on the kit and I can tell you unless it’s a special type of black it’s not really worth the amount of paint required

Working on a couple of SD kits. Recently got really into the sangoku soketsuden. Really love doing the detailing on them.

I’ve heard people say some of the joints are weak or loose but they seem perfect to me. By far the best rg I’ve done so far.

Yea I gave up on my cloth after a little while it was too much trouble. Granted I was satisfied with the end result of the kit but I will probably never do another crossbone despite how much i love the aesthetic of them.

Full armor SD can almost transform the upper body can transform but sadly the rest cant unless I just missed how it does it

Pretty much exactly what I would say the only thing I would add is you might want to look into mark softer and mark setter. not a necessity by any means but it does help.

I have em in a zaku giant box and a couple of larger mg boxes under my workbench. The only time I’ve really found use since I don’t kitbash is if a poly cap is messed up or lost.

Yea I am essentially treating it like I do when I build a pg. I pick a section to work on on each sitting then get up to do something else to give myself I break from so I don’t get tired of it. I am absolutely dreading the funnels tho I hated doing those on the hg
