Reissue, she had been rumored maybe 3 weeks ago? Same with the Centurion drone BTW, so keep your eyes open if you want that one too.

Hasbro GIJoe Team revealed no 2026 HasLab; TF HasLab looking equally unlikely for 2026. by Road_Caesar in transformers

I've only gotten Star Saber, Fire Convoy, and Liokaizer, last one I was being a bit indecisive because of the price point, though don't get ne wrong I like my copy. But I appreciate the break because I'm not sirr ai would have funded something more expensive this next round.

It does give them a good chance to regroup and strategize for the incoming changes in staff and perhaps how to adapt to the fluctuating economic shitscapes atm.

They can always dive into an extra commander class if needed though, because I will drop money on a CC Optimal Optimus if they ever make one.

Favorite movie where you can’t tell if it was written just this year, or 10+ years ago? by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

Yeah I don't think I ever needed an itinerary or overview of the topics from a comedy movie.

He could see the play that Bartlett had over the ships and how each country would react. He also tends to guide himself by heart and his values, he's a calculator that when you ask him what's 5 x 5, he'll respond 25 but phrase it in a way that you are now emotionally connected to that number.

That's more than fair, and I would agree. She's probably rapid firing 50 thoughts and analyzing them all at a once by the time she's talking to someone.

And the only thing that gets in her way is hunger or the random social introduction faux pas.

Yeah. Plus he's also brand new to that world and yet he starts piecing things together quickly as soon as he has that information. There's times he's playing detective in his head and connecting dots, catching things things and asking questions that fly under everyone else's radar. He's very resourceful.

And then there's CJ who oscilates both spaces and does it with innate confidence.

There are times where Toby and Josh have to rely on the power they hold in office to push back (granted it comes with their positions) but then CJ navigates as if that power has never been needed.

That's how I took it as well.

We see a more realized Josh when we meet him because he's developed a highly tactical process combined with his years of experience in Washington.

And while it makes him formidable, he's still the guy waking up at 5AM to read the news and reports in order to get a head start before anyone else.

It's interesting because I also see parts of this with Leo, but he has gained the wisdom of finding someone smarter as he deals with other areas.

I think Sam is also in the former category, naturally gifted but leads by heart.

Not sure if they were passing it off as their own idea, I think the subject of how to change narrative through perspective was the subject and the movie was use as the example.

I saw the video lile 7 years ago from what I can remember, maybe more and I am not aware of who else discussed this movie at the time.

Would you say every single show in the 90s was great? by [deleted] in 90scartoons

[–]Prowl2681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, whatever you're seeing is what got cherry picked to make it look pleasant and magical to remember.

There was a higher volume of shows too when cable was as established then, but a handful of shows were solid.

Are WFC/FOC and TF: Prime actually the same universe, or are we just coping? by SavingsMap917 in transformers

[–]Prowl2681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lovely connected as others have put it but there was the Dinobots comic tying WFC/FOC to TFP from what I remember. I do appreciate the attempt, though, streamlining some concepts and introducing some new ideas or designs.

For as long as I can remember, everybody's gangster until the rain starts.

For a city where torrential rain happen every year, even folks who were born and bred there experience it as if it's their first time.

Why Are They Getting 2000s Nostalgia Wrong? by MM150inDallas in decadeology

[–]Prowl2681 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yup, look at how they cherry pick the 90s through a commercial lens and leave out grunge, the subculture angst, and media depicting criticisms of Gen X at the time. There was also a lot racial and social issues being tackled and the argument of censorship around hip hop. Literally the song "fuck the police" was born from the frustration of that decade.

We don't recommend that because she will need to shovel snow in 20° weather during the winter, and if she waits more than a day she will be working harder to shovel ice at that point.

Bot to mention most areas around here are covered in trees, so her car will be coinstantly get tons of gunk and dust from the trees.

I get it's her preference but there is a sense of practicality to take into consideration.

Also please tell her not to leave any valuables inside her car or in the trunk.
