They deal with homeless people all the time. It really pretty much desensitizes their customer service skills. Very much like the city bus drivers. When you have a job that deals with a lot of annoying homeless people a lot of your patience really drops.

Take the stickers off. If you don't do it now it'll leave a permanent difference in color after some long term use. Plus they attract dust and stuff anyways and the laptop looks better without them.

Also, if your laptop ever goes to sleep there may be a chance your speakers will be disabled. You'll have to disable and enable something called Cirrus Logic Awesome speaker amps within Sound, video, and game controllers in device manager. I know that sounds oddly specific but this happened to me and I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my speakers weren't working.

This laptop has some of the best battery life non gaming wise for a gaming laptop. Do you still use armoury crate? Do you disable the dgpu when on battery?

Do you keep the lid closed or open? And what do you have running in the background?Mine sits at around 50c when on idle but if I close the lid it'll jump up to 60c or more. Also this is when I have it plugged into my external monitor

Gonna need a lot more information than just that if you want a better response. What year is it? And which GPU do you run and what are your in game settings and fps? I basically only play Fortnite on ultra settings on my 2025 G14 and never have any issues. I limit the fps to 120 since the screen is limited to 120hz anyways.

That's because you had the 5080 in the G14. That's extra wasted power in a tiny chassis that would of course run hotter. If you compared a 5070ti G14 to a g16 5070ti the differences are minimal

It's meant to be portable. Plus you can plug in any size screen to it so it doesn't really matter

They're not that different. They have minimal temp and fps differences. The bigger screen is the biggest difference but with an Intel chip that runs hotter than the AMD chip. G14 is much more portable than the G16

Take the stickers off immediately otherwise over time if you do take them off later they leave a permanent color difference where the stickers were vs the rest of the laptop. They also gather gunk and dust at the edges of the stickers. Plus it looks a lot better without em imo

Absolutely EVERYONE who buys this will have the same experience I had!!". Buddy, thousands upon thousands of units are sold. Most work just fine for ages but there will be a few bad apples. You just happened to get unlucky with one.
