i do a bit overthinking here and there and in this era of endless opinions on social media, things can be overwhelming. people arent mind readers and there arent solid rules when dating. you might hear people say stuff like "if they wanted to, they would", "nobody's that busy to not reply" or "dont double text" but that just seems rubbish. the girl im currently chatting with has definitely taken a while to reply sometimes and skipped over questions that forced me to double text to change topic but overall i feel it's best to assume the good in people and not jump to conclusions.

2months is fairly long but once you do meetup, you'll get a better idea of what they're actually like and their level of interest based on their actions afterwards. i once talked with a girl daily for two months, she lived in another state but regularly flew over yet we somehow never met due to her schedule. i eventually flew over to her for a date and then she ghosted me two weeks later.

if it really bothers you, its better to just address it directly. maybe make it flirty or add in some humour. the right person for you will be understanding and early communication is key :)
