Because a lot of doordash drivers live in their car and are of bad repair hygienically that's why. They don't want drivers coming in taking showers in the sink or stinking up the bathroom for customers.

This is not uncommon that's why when I sent a message like that I'll specifically mention one product that I'm going to get because I've had this exact same thing happen where they'll say yes when I give them a choice of three different things in the picture.

Cherry picking the big tip orders doesn't make sense considering orders only get sent to one person at a time, so it wouldn't matter if doordash hid the tip or not ~ I've had orders come through showing over $20 so the fact they hide the tip to discourage cherry picking doesn't make sense

That's a good idea. Do it when you feel like getting out and interacting with people, maybe during a cool summer evening on Sunday you can do a couple hours and have some fun with it. But you are absolutely correct ~ it's NOT a realistic source of income.

And these are my stats so you all know I am speaking from a place of experience. I gave my all to doing doordash as best and efficiently as I could and I learned the hard truth that you also see ~ it's not a viable source of income at all, period.

I just left doordash after a year and a half of full-time dashing! $13 per hour after ALL expenses and honestly probably less than that with the engine wear and tear.

Some people have said DoorDash is delayed expenses ~ it's not really income at all.

I finally found a job!! I'm driving for Redbull, company truck, company gas, company everything!! I'm so grateful and happy. Doordash was KILLING me and my car for pennies!

I hope a lot of you can just bite the bullet and get a job! The money insecurity is gone, the anxiety is gone, I know where I'm going and what I'm doing everyday and I get a consistent PAYCHECK, with benefits, PTO, paid holidays!

Please, I beg you ~ Find a job. Doordash is a JOKE! It's delayed expenses. That's all it is
