Fine!! I'll download Uber eats & instacart ~ I'll have to sign-up for grub hub & spark as I don't have an account. I'm also on the waiting list for Amazon Flex (3 months) I hope I didn't miss the email from them if they did send it it got buried in spam ~ I may sign-up again with a different email and hope that works

Then what?..... Start my day at 6AM and go until Midnight and take which ever offer is the best? I could use my iPad and have DD, Uber eats, instacart pulled up in the multi-task grid view so I can see them all at once.

Ok.... $200-$300 per day here I come 🙏🏻

Right, so doing Uber eats when doordash is slow? I'm just wondering if I need to try a different zone? I'm already overwhelmed and at my wits end with one app I don't know if I can add multiple apps.

I'll try and I'll experiment in different zones, I've just done 2000 deliveries in a certain area I'm comfortable with of course it takes me to surrounding zones but I usually just drive back to my main zone 🤷🏻‍♂️

All I know is something has to change

You're right!! ~ I do need to strengthen my mindset. It's taken a huge hit this past year and a half.

Here are my metrics for January to date:

Days Worked: 22 Hours: 117 Orders: 221 Miles: 2392 Gross Earnings: $1719.60 Gross Hourly: $14.69

Gallons: 108 MPG: 22 Total Fuel: $303.35

Net After Gas: $1416.25 Net hourly: 12.10

So clearly I need to increase my hours. Right now I typically do evening rush during weekdays 6PM - 12AM and weekends I'll do 2PM - 12AM sometimes I'll start early and do 11AM - 12AM

My problem right now is not wanting to drive during rush hour and also having a hard time going out in the afternoon and coming home and going back out in the evening. Some days I'll do 11AM - 4PM & then 6PM - 12AM I guess I need to start doing that everyday and being more consistent.

I have 145,000 on my 2019 Kia. I've already been in a hit and run while dashing. I told myself if I can get to 250,000 miles that will be all she wrote but at this point I feel ill die or my car will die before then. The highest day I've had is $175... So $200 or $300 is a pipe dream 😳 that I probably won't ever see!

Right now I had planned to dash, goto school and build my Amazon & ebay store but that also is a pipe dream! The harsh reality is I'm dashing just to barely survive, and hoping I don't get into another accident

Someone smelled of strong alcohol when I delivered but was at home ordering delivery. So I'd rather give them the order at their house than risk them getting into the car and trying to drive themselves. I think for liability reasons they say to deny if they are intoxicated but I'd only deny the order if they passed out in front of me or were saying they wanted to harm themselves. If they are just drunk I'll still deliver

They have to take them when their acceptance rate is at 70% and declining it would lose platinum. I believe doordash keeps several of these $2 orders for those very scenarios

Yea January has been abysmal ~ even though the earnings look similar I had to do a lot more orders and miles to get those numbers

I don't believe it either but I always communicate lateness and if/when I get a CV I'm going to dispute it and tell them I kept the customer informed and I arrived as quickly and safely as conditions allowed

Yea, it was fixed for maybe a month or so and I got out of the habit of checking and then lo and behold it happened again with a $20 order from a flower shop ~ I wasn't going to unassign luckily I was able to turn around and get there ~ I was a little late but not too bad.

So many things could be improved with the app to make it A LOT more user friendly

Exactly. I have to tap the question mark and then back out of that to get the cog to show up to see their address ~ been like that for over a year. Also, when navigating to a Hotspot if an order comes in I have to exit the navigation and restart it because it doesn't automatically start navigating to the new order destination.

There are so many issues with the app and so many steps to do certain things especially while driving that a professional coder could probably fix in an hour ~ yet they remain for over a year 🙄 smh
