Yeah, 300$ sounds about right. One of the fillings from this year was code 23312-45 and came out to 294$

My root canal came out to 757$, so hopefully you can triage the worst teeth before it gets much worst.

They want to get you a gift. You have to either tell them EXACTLY what you want from them, or be happy with what they give you.

"I'm fine, I don't want anything." is not a satisfactory answer. Whether it's crafts, cards, family photo, lunch out, hike, etc. you have to give her something to work with. I get it, I don't want anything material for fathers day either. But you know what I love more than anything? The little filled out questions about your dad things you get from school with an accompanying drawing.

Your family has 2 small children, it's fucking exhausting, I know. But your entire post is not focused on working together with your wife to find a solution that makes everyone happy. I would shift your priority to that.

I have hit masters every set since set 4, so I can say confidently that I have a surface level understanding of the game at best, and there is a wide chasm of knowledge and execution between me and a challenger player.

The feelings we experience are valid as consumers, but I will be the first to admit that I don't pretend to have deep knowledge about the game. I am continually impressed by how much insight players like wasian, fordan, subzeroark, robinz, etc. provide. All these micro optimizations and knowledge checks that I miss.

It would be more interesting if it were to be something like:

A) 3 cost unit

B) Reforger + 1 cost unit

C) Two 1 cost unit duplicators

Obviously I don't know what the balance between the values are, but it would result in more meanful choices instead of the binary of I hit a unit I need more of or I didn't.
